Woodland Mills - Portable Sawmills and Forestry Equipment

Did the research and chose the Woodland HM126. Best deal for the $ out there. Don't hesitate, just buy it. We love ours and wouldn't change anything other than we should have bought the extension.

Best investment I have ever made. Well assembling it, I noticed materials were of high-quality. And very easy to assemble with Patients. Like I said, best investment ever not only for a hobbyist the tool can do it all well put together.

The Woodland Mills HM130 Max is amazing. I am very happy with it. I strongly suggest buying extensions, not just to cut longer lumber but also so you can move the mill away from the log when flipping the log. You can do anything with this mill. I've wanted a mill for years but put it off not thinking i could justify the expense not realizing how economical a entry level mill was..then a tornado came through my property leaving hundreds of trees down and nobody wanting them or dealing with the mess so I bought woodlands entry level hm122,I upgraded to a 9.5 engine, added an adjustable blade guide,and bought an extension making it capable of cutting 16' lumber that I haven't used yet till I move..all my experiences with woodland have been outstanding and the assembly instructions are amazing unlike most instructions ive seen in the past , my next product I'm wanting is there lap siding attachment I can't believe I waited till I was 50 years old to get a mill and very proud to be a woodland mill owner

I pondered on buying a mill for a couple of years before I finally pulled the trigger. I read many reviews, priced many mills and I kept coming back to Woodland products. I have been a mill owner for just over a year. I look back and wish I would have purchased it sooner. I have the HM130MAX with one extra length of track. My mill shipped 5-weeks early and assembly was a breeze with the detailed colored step by step instructions. I have cut many logs for home projects, I love the fact I am not dependent on the big box lumber yards and I can cut any size I need. If you are not sure if a mill is not for you, if you have access to logs and your love working with wood, then a mill is for you. My only regret is, I didn't purchase it sooner. These are quality mills at a great price and there service department is top notch. Happy sawing!

Awesome company with well made products at a fair price and exceptional customer service. Read tons of positive reviews praising their product and customer service before buying a mill. Decided to go with the HM 122 based on that and two years later I had a small issue with a clutch which was likely my fault. They quickly helped me identify the problem and sent me a new one under warranty. Top notch service from the friendly customer service folks! Highly recommend their products.

I purchased the top of the line Woodland HM130 Max Woodlander with all the bells and whistles. I bought the trailer, the extended bed, the loading ramp with winch (that I never use), the lifts to level the log, and even the toolbox. I bought extra blades. They delivered the mill ahead of the worst case timeframe and the delivery was smooth. I was happy with that. I rated it a 4, updated from my original rating of 3 based on their additional customer service managers follow up. My review:1) It is pretty well made. It took me about 5 days to put it together with everything. I was taking my time to be sure everything was done correctly. Air tools help. The directions were pretty good. There were a few areas where a picture would be helpful.2) Parts were missing, although they were small parts, they mail them out regular mail so I was delayed in finishing the build.3) The sales department is very responsive, but the tech area is NOT. I had to send several emails to tech for missing things, and only when I copied sales did I get a response. I am experiencing a lack of response as I write this.4) The sawmill began to rust through the green paint in areas that were not wear areas, after only about 3 weeks outside. I asked for the paint color and type so I can prevent further rust and am still waiting on an answer after 3 days.5) The screws on the back of the toolbox are rusting also. IT's NEW. What gives? It is outside. Why would they not use stainless screws or another metal that does not rust? This is $169+tax toolbox and it's small. I bought it because the color matched and it mounts on the trailer bed.I would also like the toolbox that is deeper for a bit more storage. It is quite small. I would but another brand toolbox that is more durable based on my experience.6) The performance of the mill is great. It cuts nice and straight. I think taking your time to set it up correctly helps.7) Definitely buy extra blades. They do not last very long. I am searching for another blade supplier. I hear carbide blades last longer, but they are double the price. The first blades I bought were for both hardwood and softwood. I ordered the hardwood blades as well and am waiting to receive them so I can test them. I do cut mostly hardwoodsAll in all I like the mill. I would buy it again, even with the issues I experienced. I could suggest a few improvements, but they did a nice job designing the mill.I am not excited about the responsiveness of the Tech team. Very slow. That said, so far they did address my missing part issues. I did not receive one set of screws yet, even though FEDEX said they were delivered. I do not blame Woodland for that, but I am still waiting for them to send out the screws. It's been a couple of days since I reported it to Woodland. I will attach some pics.Update: 9/29/22: I received a call from the customer experience manager. Very nice. She acknowledged that they have been experiencing growing pains and hired more people recently to handle the increased sales load. They are in training now. I appreciate the follow up. She said they would send me the latest missing parts and I should receive them shortly. more to come.

I purchased at HM130MAX from Woodland Mills. The mill arrived earlier than expected. I did not have any issues putting the mill together, the instructions were straight forward. I currently have 12hrs on the mill and couldn't be happier with my purchase. I have yet to need to use their technical support but it's available if required.

We love our new sawmill. Ours came with a broken pull cord, after contacting the company, they replaced it. I've never had customer service respond so quickly. They had even apologized. We will definitely be buying from this company again. The products are worth the money.
