The Absolute worst experience ever!They actual pay a company to post reviews, be careful!Quoted us $2500 for the move and the Bill was $7800.Hold our furniture hostage until I paid the bill!Destroyed more than half our furniture!Made my wife cry as they where damaging our walls and floors!Even the movers where smoking in our house, putting out cigarette buts on our property!Absolutely insane!Offered us $150 for the appraised $15000 damage that they did to our furniture!Be careful as they have also different names that they use.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! AWFUL EXPERIENCE! I am so angry with myself because I normally look at reviews before going with a company but because I had to sort out my move really quickly I went with them. NEVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE!They picked up my items from me a month ago. After pick up, radio silence. I had to keep calling them until they finally told me my items had arrived in Ontario. I asked them to confirm a delivery date and never heard anything back. I would speak to someone and they would keep telling me they will call me back tomorrow, I NEVER received a call so I would chase them. Till today, no confirmed delivery date and no items. They are thieves! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. Oh and they increased the price, told me I had to pay before they could schedule delivery. So I paid, they have full payment and I have none of my items and no confirmed delivery date.

Hired them to move our things from Ontario to Alberta. During the pick-up, they do not have tools to disembark the bed frame. Seriously, they claim they could disassemble small furnitures at no cost. The truck driver or whoever got our things was rude. No customer service ethics. Said no scale fee but was charged with a scale fee. Then there were other hidden charges. Have to fight with them over the phone about those charges and they waived it but they still charge the scale fee. When our things arrived, one box was intentionally open, cabinet was broken. They broke our cabinet, filed a complain to Their claims department. No news no email until now. Its been more than 2 weeks. Their customer service is the worse. Even if you try to talk to them in a calm manner, in the midst of the conversation, you blood pressure will shoot up as if they do not understand.PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. ITS NOT GOING TO BE SMOOTH SAILING AS THEY CLAIM IT SHOULD. NEVER AGAIN!

DO NOT USE THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!!Worst customer experience ever!!They have a really friendly person available to book your service, then when the problems occurred, she was suddenly on 'vacation' and 'nobody was available to help'. The moving staff showed up a day late and did not have the room in truck that was agreed upon, multiple items were scratched and broken - several beyond repair, and they tried to overcharge me. Then they could not find my final destination and were hours late (I had people waiting to help out - ruined that plan). I also had to hire a second moving company to move the items that ACM couldn't fit in their truck and could/would not schedule a second truck.After I unpacked and documented the damages (as requested by ACM), they quit responding to my emails and phone calls regarding compensation for the damaged items. The BBB could not get anything from them either.I wish I had read this type of review before I hired them.

Terrible and horrible service. If there’s a zero star I would give no star to this company. Never had bad experiences with moving companies before. No responsibilities and trying to hunt customers. Be careful if u planing to delivery with this company. U May got extra charge and no prove of scale. Extra 3% when u paid with credit card. Plus taxes. But didn’t explain it from start. The movers are so rude and like robbery. The delivery date. They come and force me to pay before they load the stuff. They don’t let u paid after loading. And I didn’t know until I unpacked all my stuff that I had 2 missing boxes. Even provide the boxes number to them. But no luck. They trying to Settle the case by paying $125 for a $5000 value. And still charging the kilogram of my boxes. This company it’s careless, heartless and no responsibilities. If u want to be trick and loose ur stuff...please contract this moving company.

I used Across Country Movers from San Diego to Toronto.This company bent over backwards to help me with 2 moves, one from San Diego to Toronto and another from San Diego to Portland OR.Fantastic and professional company. Recommend them to everyone. No hassle with Customs they did all documentation for me and charged $0 for this service.Highly Recommend.

Don't recommend them at all!We were moving from Toronto to Vancouver. Looks like we were dealing with two different companies despite claiming to be the same. I have paid deposit and being told that everything is ok. I had to call the day before pick up to make sure everything is in order when I realized they even didn't book us despite paying the deposit. Then they said they will come between 4pm-7pm next day. On pick up day, all of the sudden, they called at 9am and said we will be there in 20min otherwise we won't be able to pick it up today. We had flight to take next day morning and had to accept. When I told them I am still packing, they said they will help with no problem, they showed up and while I was packing the TV they started putting several smaller boxes into their own big boxes and charged us for $50 each ending up being 4*50=$200 extra charge. When I argued, the pick up guys in Toronto told us tell this story to the delivery guy in Vancouver and they will dropped it. We argued but no luck. We had to let it go because we had flight ticket next day early morning. When delivered in Vancouver, there were again extra charges. And when I asked for the scaling receipt, never received it. Called again several times after the delivery day no luck. Talked to the manage, no luck.Consider the amount of time that I had to wait on the phone and talk with different customer reps. It was a learning experience for sure. Don't Trust them at all. Don't recommend them for sure.

Charged $1200 more than quoted upon delivery. Missed their first pickup date. Crushed the corner of my desk. When speaking to the man on the phone about the damage and all the extra expenses, he was extremely rude, told us we had to pay or they wouldn't deliver, told me I'd get a receipt about the extra cost but couldn't tell me over the phone why it cost an extra $1200. Never got that receipt to explain the costs. Movers were unprofessional when they were in the home, snorting and sneering like loading boxes onto a moving truck was a burden and not their job.
