Cordery Electrical Contracting

Hello SCC#9 residents.Cordery ElectricWe have now had two dealings with this company and both have been problematic with billing and costing.We had dealt with the office manager and appointment setter Val and on all occasions she had made promises that were not kept.(She has been fired according to Richard as of a conversation today June 2 2021)In the beginning we we asked Val for estimates on time on task. We requested specific times due to management of our Parrot routine and no service calls can be done prior to 9 AM. Valerie the office manager told us we would not have any problem as they do go out and give estimates and quotes and can accommodate our morning requirements.Steve the owners Son did arrive and did spot some electrical hazards that had to be done right away as it is demanded by his license to be proactive. We appreciated the care and consideration. (Shame on Chris Ladacour the other electrician who was up there a month before and did not correct the hazzard and created new issues)After the first visit by Cordery ,we had a second appointment that they missed and did not call us until wec alled them and they said 'ooops the team was on a high urgency job and would not see us'. Had we not called them we would have never known they were not coming. No real apology.The third visit they brought a 3rd person because they had to bang out this job and head to another so it worked for them to do it this way. We were ok with that.In May I asked my wife have we received any invoice from the company and she said no. Darla called and spoke to Richard to owner and he said thanks for calling and he would get one out to us. His invoice reflects the wrong date of service and the times on the job. The invoicing was inaccurate and was in discrepancy with zero time in and time out documentation. The invoice was stamped that the bill was in late payment status. ( We never had receipt of any invoice)When asked for the documentation he texted me total inaccurate times on the job.We told Richard that we have a Parrot and our routine with it requires no servicing prior to 9 AM. His text of the times that he claimed that his crew arrived was  He laughed at us and mocked us telling us that your 'Parrot tells time.. That's a good one' He went on to say he has heard it all before.' He said with sarcasm and disdain. Richard was completely dismissive and lacks the type of acumen that I for one will never engage with. I can imagine the horror show that awaits seniors that have to deal with this company.The reason we mentioned the Parrot is that we gauge our day by the Parrots routine. Richard being defunct in the ability to understand that exotic animals require routine simply showed his ignorance and arrogance in his reply which was a laugh and loud enough that the lady in the background was laughing at us as well.As a board member I request that this company never be called or used in the future. Apparently he has no regard for business here in Lagoon City despite him putting signs up at our entrance.We have paid his inaccurate bill and washed our hands of this type of business person.Oh and by the way Valerie was fired from the job and I can only speculate why. She was friendly and helpful but not accurate and in my opinion after speaking with the owner Richard that regardless of who works there they would be subject to the similar dismissive, rude poor people skills the owner of that company has. My suggestion to his Son is to open his own business because his father is more of a sales prevention department.Cordery Electric gets an epic fail ..NOTE Cordery did excellent work they fail in the pricing costing invoicing and customer relations.Thanks All:Garth RileyVice President SCC #9289-928-9802

Richard was an absolute pleasure to deal with. His electrical experience and same day completed work, left me amazed. A Great Electrical Contracting Company that I would highly recommend.

Booked a 10 am appointment for a quote to upgrade electrical panel Did not show up for appointment and not even a courtesy call

This company is garbage. They led me on for 4 months thinking id be registered. They hire people who are unlicensed to do work and then let them go right before registration. Wouldn't recommend, also the owner richard is very vulgar.

Richard Cordery was rude and condescending. We had a simple data cabling job for our office build and it looks like he couldn't be bothered. Unprofessional and would not recommend.
