This place is a real hidden gem! For family day we had the jerk chicken meals and sweet cornbread. Portion size was fantastic, great price and the food tasted fantastic! Friendly service. Our family will be back for sure.

This small family owned restaurant is wonderful! The owners are super friendly and genuine and the food is really good.My first visit there was for a singles games night that I was hosting. I had tried the casaba fries for the 1st time. AWESOME!!! Once everyone else tried them, we ordered a few more plates! Not to mention a few other dishes, like the jerk chicken.They had a wonderful band playing live music and everyone carried on as if we were old friends. Our entire group of 14 people enjoyed their experience and would recommend Vivene's Island Cuisine!We have since hosted another event and have more planned at this venue.

I ordered for the first time tonight. We had the Jerkinator sandwich and the oxtail stew. Both were incredible. Thank you again. We can't wait to order again. Guys, you have to try this place if you like to have true authentic Jamaican food. You won't be disappointed.

I really wanted this place to be good, as it’s the first West Indian spot I’ve tried in Burlington. Unfortunately, that isn’t so. Ordered the curry goat and it was dry and tough to chew. Had absolutely no flavour as well. I couldn’t finish eating it. The only thing good about my meal was the plantain and coleslaw. The plantain was sweet and ripe. I couldn’t bare eating much of the rice and peas due to the curry on it which did not taste good. Not worth the price at all. Not sure if I’d try anything else off of the menu based on this experience.

I had Vic Caters and Bakery supply food for a medium sized engagement party of about 35 people. Carolene was very responsive to emails, took into consideration some food allergies, and provided a wonderful array of food to meet anyone's palette. Her team arrived exactly on time, and had the food all put out in less than 20mins. All guests were highly complimentary and everyone enjoyed their feast. I would definitely recommend them and will surely keep them in mind for any future event.

Absolutely Fantastic!!! We just had this amazing team come out for a very important Kin Canada celebration, and they knocked it out of the park.Food was hot, fresh, and OMG was it tasty. Vivene’s does a great job serving up authentic Caribbean-style fare with a kick, at a very reasonable price point. Have tried a few different dishes for takeout and have never been disappointed. Food is prepared quickly and always tastes fresh. Their curry dishes, jerk chicken and beef patties are personal favourites. It’s refreshing to have a different type of cuisine in an area dominated by chain pizza restaurants. Staff is always friendly. Looking forward to my next visit!
