CIBC Branch with ATM

No matter how many people are lining up, this branch only has one teller, so you are highly recommended to bring some snacks and watch a movie online while waiting :-) Lol

After reviewing all the comments, it is safe to say that the situation has not been improved one bit. The wait is still too long because there is only 1 teller trying his/her best to handle the morning rush.

The service is horrible. There is a teller named Carmen, she is so rude. She always push the customers to the ATM instead of serving you at the desk. She has lack of knowledge about what's the capability of ATM. The ATM can provide very limited functions and services only!!! Don't waste you time there!

Horrible interaction with 2 staff of the Markland /404 branch . Came to deposit a cheque from my pension company that I wanted to even put in my mutual funds which is also with CIBC, the staff said they could not release the funds to me and were very unprofessional about it. Later call telephone banking and it was done easily… horrible experience and profiling of client…

Horrible customer service, it's 14:35 with a lineup of 6 ppl and 2 tellers serving customers. Instead of helping the rest one teller leaves for a brake leaving all of us overheating in line for the last 20 minutes. I have had always bad prolonged service at this branch. Always a horrible experience.

It's alright. Staff are friendly but nothing overly special - too few staff for the holiday period (to be fair I expected this) and nobody at the front help desk for several days that I went so everyone had to line up to see the tellers not knowing if they can even be helped by them or not

Incredible wait considering the number of employees buzzing around. Customer comes first? Perhaps not anymore. Also during these times, my visit time should be as short as possible. Something that management needs to consider very seriously.Update 30072021: still the same 4 staff visible and 4 customers waiting yet 1 service provider. Wow.....some companies just will not get it!

The manager (Manager Client Advice) was rude, impatient and incompetent. On July 23, 2020, My friend and I went to the branch to find out why our money order was returned. After a long waiting, the manager met us. First she said she doesn't know why the money order was returned. Then she said we have no right to know why it was returned and only the money order issuer has the right to know. We requested her explanation about her answers when she found herself in the awkward situation providing us unreasonable answers. She impatiently and inconveniently stood up indicating us to leave. First time ever I experienced a manager providing such a service!!!

We were impressed by Lance's service today, he is very pleasant and professional, great customer services oriented approach! The branch office is very clean and quiet.

When I signed up for a credit card they tried to sell me the Balance Protection Insurance which I thoroughly refused then I saw it being charged to my account 2 months later. Today the teller called over the manager and she said something foreign and laughed while looking at my file. I will be cancelling my account for good next time I go in.
