Cookery

This is my favourite cooking store, bar none. They seem to carefully curate what they stock because every time I'm looking online for the best tool in some category, Cookery has it.I'm someone who normally doesn't buy anything without reading reviews, but I don't have to do that here because they've done it for me! I guess they must haunt the same review sites that I do.

This is a lovely store, unfortunately my customer service experience has been less than. I purchased a Bodum kettle which malfunctioned 10 months later, well within the warranty period. However, the store advised I would have to deal with Bodum directly. There is no Canadian customer service for Bodum, and their U.S. based customer service has been non-responsive. I try to shop and support local, but a big box store would have taken this return instead of sticking me with a defective item. Be sure to ask about return policies when buying small appliances.

A store I will always be too poor to shop at but smart enough to appreciate. If you enjoy cooking and have money to spend I recommend you check this place out, really friendly staff and a wide selection of all the most popular and quality cooking items. The one down side is that it’s far from cheap and not what I’d consider for an amateur who may ruin their new purchases.

I’m so happy Cookery can ship internally and helped me with an order that included some hard-to-find items where I live. They emailed me top several times during the process and packed everything with care so it arrived safely after some extra travel time. They also invited me to share photos of any dishes I create. They’re easy to work with and kind, and I’ll definitely be back!

I normally have a great experience but sometimes some of the store clerks make me feel like I’m a sneaky person. As if I were to steal from them when all I’m doing is looking for an item I may want to buy.And there’s another store clerk who is exceptional however I can’t recall her name but she’s been quite helpful on the two occasions I’ve been in the store.

Made an order online and their customer service was excellent! My order ended up coming from a different location, but it was Bloor that arranged for that to happen after a minor setback. Either way, my order came right away. I love my Le Creuset Braiser and cake stand. Will be looking for an excuse to pop by in person and check out their store soon!

Service is good. Some staff are nice. Product quality is poor.Very expensive. Every item is $5-10 more here than any other kitchen store I went to.EDIT: I asked if they do returns. Was told YES and when I tried to they would Only give me store credit. Every store makes up there own rules.Also glasses broke while hand washing (horrible quality). Staff push / upsell products. (every product I asked about they showed me a more expensive version that 'they own')

Absolutely amazing store. They donated a beautiful, generous gift basket to our Indigenous holiday fundraiser, which was our most sought-after item. The store has amazing, unique products and our staff will definitely be returning for holiday shopping. Thank you again, The Cookery!

I spent quite a while for searching online for reusable silicon baking sheets and no other stores seemed to have them. Luckily I found this store and they had them! The entire process was very simple. Their website is great and it easy to search for what I was looking for. I was kept updated on my order via email. I chose the curbside pick up option. It was quick and organized, which I appreciated as it was so cold that evening. They had my order ready and I was probably only there for about 60 seconds total. Overall a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend. I am very glad I was able to support a local business when purchasing my Christmas gifts from this year.
