Everything was so good, I needed to rave. Our waiter was incredible and made the best recommendations for cocktails and food. We were two and shared the karaage, the wagyu uni nigiri, tonkotsu, and the bone marrow, scallop, mazemen, and yozu cheesecake. Everything was fresh and executed perfectly. Just wow. Can’t wait to go back, will definitely recommend. Thank you!

I gave the restaurant two stars because of their great service. Their crab sandwich is delicious. However, I couldn’t find any truffle in the truffle & mushroom Mazemen. I understand that food prices have increased, but if there is no truffle, why not call it truffle Mazemen? Additionally, I found a plastic piece in the Wagyu Mazemen:(

Good food and excellent service! Waitress was very detail-oriented. Favorite were the fresh sashimi platter, crispy and generous portion of kaarage and tataki. Would go back!

The service was fantastic! The food was amazing! The highlight of the night for me was really the bone marrow uni hotate mazemen and it did not disappoint! The sushi was fresh and delicious! I enjoyed the yuzu cheesecake a lot too! I would definitely come back to try more of their food! I did find that they weren't too generous on the whisky... And the shrimp in the shrimp scallop gaspacho was but more on the saltier side... But other than that a good experience!

Great service and absolutely amazing food! I highly recommend the sashimi platter, the fish were very fresh and they had lots of unique options I haven’t tried anywhere! The vibes were immaculate, definitely check this place out :)

A gorgeous Japanese restaurant on the inside with plants everywhere on the walls and a great atmosphere. It has excellent service with staff always on the round filling up water and ready to answer any questions about the menu. I was feeling vegan and had their Vegan Chirashi Sushi which was filled with all kinds of marinated vegetables and it was beyond delicious! My friends also loved their food. I cannot wait to come back again to try all the food items on the menu. A 10/10 for the food and the hospitality and the interiors of the restaurant :)

My partner and I enjoyed our first visit so much! My favourites were the lamb croquettes and the wagyu mazemen with bone marrow! But pretty much everything we ordered was delicious, fresh and well balanced. We also enjoyed the sake that was recommended to us. The service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant had a nice cozy ambiance with beautiful decor. Overall, a pleasant experience. A little pricey but worth it. Would recommend!

Wow, what a great resto with delicious food! We ordered various cocktail and drinks. The waitee brought free yuzu sake shooters which were very good! We shared the best soft shell crab buns, marinated tuna and endives as appetizers. We then tried their duck breast mazemen and spiky ikura mazemen, super good! We ended with the two desserts: light yuzu cheesecake and chocolate matcha cake, so full but perfect ending!

Eating fresh, delicious Japanese-style sashimi in Montreal isn't easy.The Japanese sashimi I had at otto was very fresh and satisfying.Fried crab and karaage are also very delicious. recommend!!
