The owner of this store is one of the kindest I have ever met. She helped me above and beyond what was needed. I was unable to complete a transaction due to my own personal issues and she was still incredibly kind and understanding. I would recommend this place to anyone who comes to New West. It is a fantastic stop at the quay to get a quality read for yourself or a loved one.

Kinderbooks is a wonderful bookshop for all ages. The curated collection of children's books covers all topics. Anne has helped me many times select stories for my children so that they could expand their learning in a variety of topics or life events.It is also my go-to shop for presents. Dolls, art supplies, an even seasonal decorations made by local artists are sold here.The art and story classes with local artist are our favourite addition at Kinderbooks.A lovely nook that makes New West a special place to live; Kinderbooks is truly wonderful.

Kinder Books is a New Westminster gem! Ann has curated an astounding collection - lovely picture books, board books, non-fiction treasures, Indigenous stories, and literature for older children and adults. The store also carries puppets, sticker and activity books, puzzles, toys and games, and stationery. With such a knowledgable and helpful staff providing suggestions, it is a pleasure to pick out gifts or add to my own collection. New West is so lucky to have this wonderful store in our town!!

Kinder Books is an amazing, inclusive book store that values indigenous authors and diverse perspectives. Anne is a thoughtful curator of meaningful, powerful books for children and adults that are perfect for a home or classroom collection. Her handmade, fair trade and locally sourced toys, cards, and art make perfect gifts. I love supporting this local business and highly recommend it to all.

This is a hidden gem in New West! Both parents and kids will love this small corner full of books and craft toys curated by the owner Anne. She is always open to listen and talk to the kids. One of my favorite local busines.

A wonderful local book store for kids of all ages! Many excellent options for books/toys and Anne (the owner) is so friendly and helpful. Anne also engages many local artists/authors to put on thoughtful and fun activities for families at the Quay - you can check out her website for these store events. A gem in New West!

Kinder Books is a fantastic shop with a truly great selection of kids books (and many that I've gifted to adults and enjoyed myself).Anne is tremendously accommodating of all my queries and most books, regardless of their genre, can be ordered through her store.Very pleased that Kinder Books has a standing place on the Quay.

Wonderful place to visit. My kids always want to stop by to have a look at all the books when we go to the River Market. Anne is super friendly and knowledgeable. A great selection of beautiful books that cover a wide range of topics. A definite must if you are at the River Market.

Excellent place to shop for kid gifts with some options for adults and teens too. The shopkeeper will help you find the perfect book or activity, or toy. Great selection of books written by BIPOC authors.
