Blue Mountain Pets Hotel

I don't usually post or share bad experiences, however I couldn't even get a hold of them after calling multiple times on multiple days between the last week of January and first week of February. It took me asking a question through their Facebook for me to get a response (they said they were very busy, no availability, but this is after a week of trying to get a hold of them).Coming from out of town, I had a few questions and concerns regarding boarding my dog; I tried calling many times to get more information and check for availability. I went through their online site and created a profile for my dog, however I did not feel comfortable leaving my dog or even following through with the process if I cannot get a hold of the business.Overall I am leaving this review due to the non existent phone service I received despite being highly rated in the area.

Caring staff and convenient location. Clean. Great doggie resort.

We recently started taking our young puppy here (6 months old) for daycare. He seems to do really well here! He gets excited when we pull up. He's nice and tired when we pick him up. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I will definitely recommend this daycare to others!

My first time boarding my small dog. He has had lots of various boarding experiences and he was very happy to be led into the pet area and never turned around to look back at me when I dropped him off. Stayed for the day and was happy, healthy and seemed to have a great experience. He was tired that night from all that doggie play time. Staff was easy to communicate with and were accommodating for an earlier check in due to a family funeral/long travel time required. Really appreciated this .I will board him again.

It was the first time that I left my cat in a pets hotel, but I would definitely recommend this place. They have two separate buildings for cats and dogs, so they will never interact with each other. Also, each cat has one big condo with enough space to sleep and move. The hotel provides cats with litter boxes and water. The owners, however, need to bring their own food. Also, I really liked that before we checked in, the staff asked us for all vaccinations and flea protection. Moreover, they needed the certificates. This action inspired me that no other cats could infect my pet. Also, the space was enough and had a neutral smell, so new comers won’t fight over the territory due to smells of their cats. The hotel also has machines for credit payments, but the connection can be bad, so I would suggest to have some cash on hand. Overall, very pleasant experience.

Excellent first experience with dog boarding. Added a nail trim and shampoo before pick up and my pup has never smelled better! Excellent communication with owner and would use this service again. Thank you!

We have two big dogs and they love Sharna and the staff! Our German Shepherd has some anxiety and doesn't do well with other dogs. Luckily they are taken such good care of when they visit that she LOVES being there. We call it camp" for the dogs. They get outside like 5 times a day

Amazing property, very clean (emphasis on clean, I'm very acute to it) always a good group of friendly dogs there to play together. My girl is a bit of a nut and doesn't join the group but it's great to see the dogs making friends. Worth the drive 100%, I'm in Toronto and it's the only place I trust to keep my girl happy, out of trouble and loved. Thank you!
