Hired Aslan for utility locating before we started to dig for a major project. They finished the utility locating 3 days later, which to me was not a big deal. They then drew out maps and provided them to me so I can see where the utilities are located. GREAT! However, they missed MAJOR electrical utilities which we ended up destroying with an excavator as we had no clue they were even there (hence why we hired Aslan utility locating as a company!!). I called and asked to have a manager or owner come down to discuss...weeks went by....crickets! Finally I see a full charge of the invoice to a credit card which I previously provided them for another job. They did not get an authorization or have a pre-authorized form filled out by me to move forward with this charge. Aslan preformed credit card fraud! Unacceptable behavior from this company. I called them today and they still refuse to accept responsibility for their actions! They won't even send a manager down to discuss what even happened. Bunch of cowards running that organization.

They left us with an unsafe hole in our textured wall in children's playroom. 1300 to repair wall. When asked them about it I was told to put arborite on our wall to hide it! We paid the company a 1000 dollar deposit in good faith prior to the job. Then they have the audacity to send us a bill 6 months later. Better Business Bureau. The absolutely worst company in town folks. Don't sign anything if you are not happy with their work.

In March 2021 I called Aslan to arrange a service call to repair a furnace not working properly. After a 4 hour visit the tech could NOT diagnose OR repair the problem. I called another company and that tech was able to diagnose AND repair the problem within 1 hr. Eleven months later I receive an invoice for $437.85. I was only willing to pay a fair and reasonable amount of that so Aslan sent the case to tribunal.They were not willing to change amount of invoice in negotiation stage and reminded me by signing work order at beginning of service I was also agreeing to pay any amount in full &also pay for any fees, expenses and charges they had in getting the money from me.They got their money but Aslan will never get my business again or a recommendation from me.

We have used Aslan's services for 16 years and have had excellent service! They inspect our furnace and hot water tank annually. They have done some major plumbing repairs. Their new plumber Jeremy is fantastic. They installed our new hot water tank in a timely manner. Their request for services is timely. I can always count on Aslan.

I had their electrician install a wire from a plug to my microwave and another wire from a plug to a plug. That was in November 2021. He was in and out of here in under 30 minutes. I was impressed and had him back in March 2022 to install an island light and to do some other small jobs. I sighed off on the work order for 1 1/2 hours which was accurate. After that I phoned the company 3 times over several months looking for the bill and it didn’t come. I received it the other day, 14 months after the work was done and they charged me for 8 hours of work and overcharged me $100 for the electrical permit. I went to see them and they claim their truck GPS had him here on two separate occasions for 4 hours each time. This is totally untrue. Once I read the other 100 reviews I quickly understood this is the way they conduct their business. I expected a bill around $300 and instead it was $1,300. This is why their review rating is so poor.

It takes a lot for me to post a negative review.I had to get some electrical for 2 heat pumps (2 breakers and 2 - 3 wire) in my shop. At the time we discussed the importance of getting the breaker in as winter was coming fast with my shop full of expensive products that would freeze which they did show up with. After a 4 hour show up and wires not connected at pump or breaker .. I did not hear from the company again for over three weeks. After multiple attempts of contacting them over weeks to come back as I had sourced out the breakers (extremely easily btw) I had to hire another company to finish the job. Which was too late for most of my belongings that had already frozen and had to be thrown out. I then received a bill for $2200 to run the wires and 2 disconnects without even being hooked up at pump or breaker. They charged me for an electrical permit but never touched anything electrically charged. I tried to explain the situation to a Beverly and asked for a copy of the permit, she was extremely rude, was suppose to call me back with proof of permit she did not. This company has terrible customer service, steer clear there are so many great trades available.

Aslan came and serviced and inspected my parents furnace and they never received a bill even though they called and asked for one. Now 15 months later my mom gets a call saying they will be in collections unless she pays them for three invoice. I called to enquire about the invoices and the lady there blamed everything on covid and said there were three invoices because they bill for gas electric and refrigeration separately. I explained that it is very bad business practice to bill for services 15 months after the fact and to threaten them with collections even though they never ever received any bill or had any communication at all! The furnace was replaced by another company the next month because it was defective but Aslan never said a word about it!

CRIMINAL BUSINESS! Buyer beware. This company does not care to actually fix your problem. Their primary objective is to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY

Our hot water tank was dripping and Aslan came to the next day to look at our problem. Kelsey from Aslan found that the issue was our water pressure was higher than normal and she replaced the water pressure valve. Kelsey was efficient and a pleasant person to deal with.Barry and Cathy

I hired Aslan because our water pressure was not consistent . They replaced an electrical capacitor (similar to replacing a light bulb) and the water pump. Immediately (next day) after the repairs the problem was still present. Aslan returned and unsuccesfully spent approximately 12 hours over two days attempting to get the new pump working properly. As Aslan could not get the new pump to maintain proper pressue and beleived the system required further repairs, we contacted another pump/plumbing company to come take a look. The new company got the pump working within 20 minutes by properly adjusting the pressure settings and now well over a year later the pump has been running with no issues. It's been suggested by a few professionals that the pump may not have needed to be replaced. Immediately after getting Aslan's invoice I contacted them to discuss their invoice, which included the 12 hours of unsuccesful work, over $200 in travel (our place is ~9km from their shop), and an electrical permit for the capacitor. The manager/owner was unwilling to discuss a reasonable settlement and would not send me a copy of the electrical permit they supposedly pulled. I paid the invoice in full, less the 12 hours, the electrical permit charge, and the travel which I was not aware of as I didn't see/sign the work auth. I confirmed with the City of Vernon that Aslan had not obtained a permit. Aslan sued me and during the tribunal they would not accept (nor counter) the offers I made. The tribunal in the end reduced my invoice significantly. As I learned after the fact, this is a typical pattern for Aslan (ie. charging for work not performed, suing customers, not customer focused, etc).
