We found Carmen on Wedding Wire, where her profile caught our eye with high customer ratings and awesome reviews. I remember the first time when we met, she was willing to drive all the way from the suburb to Toronto downtown where we live. Basically she makes efforts for customer convenience. That means a lot!During the first meeting, she was very patient with us, answering our questions and concerns, already giving advice for our wedding and making us feel less anxious, all before we had even signed her as our coordinator! We did not have this level of attention from any other wedding planner we had interviewed, and made our decision very quickly and easily.She always came to our meetings well prepared and with good suggestions.Carmen is someone that you can count on fully. She has a lot of good vendor referrals and is very good at coordinating with them, even fixing their mistakes. Our wedding went extremely smoothly and felt perfect to us! That shows Carmen’s high work standards and professionalism!Carmen is also a very stylish person. I think in order to have the customer trust the wedding coordinator’s taste/opinion, the coordinator should have good taste on their own look first. Just saying!! She’s so beautiful and well dressed all the time! :)Lastly, Carmen was an amazing wedding planner and now is a good friend of ours. Hiring Carmen was one of the best decisions we made when it came to planning for our wedding. She is exceptionally dedicated, organized, and thorough, with great attention to detail. She is an excellent communicator and worked well with sometimes challenging vendors. Even my demanding parents thought she was amazing!! Most importantly, Carmen was able to understand our vision for the wedding (even if we could never truly articulate it!) and, with her team, was able to help us have a perfect wedding day. We hired Carmen for our 2022 wedding. We met with three wedding planners before deciding to go with Carmen due to her immense experience. We initially were looking for partial planning but decided to go with the full planning service. Carmen is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to wedding planning, from vendors to organization to family dynamics.Carmen gave us so many great recommendations on venues and vendors based on the style we were looking for and our budget. She had great relationships with the vendors and I believe that that added to the smoothness of our wedding.Prior to the day, she developed a written out plan with notes and directions on what would be happening. She took us through the plan and answered any questions that we had. She also reassured us about the day.On the day of, she was well prepared with her assistant and addressed any issues that came up. She was very attentive and present.I highly recommend Carmen! She's the best in the business.

Carmen was the BEST!!!My twin sister and I had a double reception with one wedding on the Friday and a second wedding on Saturday, which made for a very, very busy wedding weekend! Carmen was so incredibly amazing to work with. Her knowledge of the business was phenomenal. She was so bubbly and sweet no matter how hectic things got. She was so detailed oriented and thought of all the little things that wouldn't have even crossed our minds. We worked with Carmen on our summer 2022 wedding which hosted 170 guests at the Steam Whistle Brewery.We went with the full planning package and are so glad we did, Carmen and her team played a huge role in the planning of the wedding. We really appreciated her experience and insights on how to navigate the various options (as with this venue, everything is basically being it on yourself, so lots of decisions to make!) and on how to make it as seamless as possible.
