Savvios Family Restaurant
Had a fabulous meal here. Lots of tasty food -- enough to take home for another meal. Attentive service. Lovely outdoor patio in the shade on a hot night. Nothing bad to say about this place, its food, or its service. We'll be back the next time we're in Oliver! I highly recommend this traditional and somewhat kitschy Greek restaurant.

Excellent food in a family friendly greek restaurant. The menu had everything that one could want and presentation of our platter was superb. Tons of food for 2 people, could likely feed 4. Service was a bit slow out of cadence. Drinks were often empty and no one else was in there. Decor was a little dated but manageable. Prices were a little high. Food was well worth it, but service could be improved.

The food was excellent, quality ingredients, great flavours and generous portions.The service was great, despite the fact that the staff were really busy.We were hoping to get a table on the patio, but it was full, so we opted to eat inside instead.To call the interior eclectic" would be an understatement... There's A LOT of tchotchkes on display. I remember seeing some angel figures and a bunch of nautical-themed knicknacks.Not sure how old the building is

Went here for dinner. The portion sizes are generous without being too over the top. There is both a patio and interior restaurant portion. The restaurant is open until ten pm. There are daily drink specials. Wednesday is Caesars day. Thursday is a special on breezers. Coll ambience and the Greek salad is delicious.

Fantastic experience. Our hockey team forgot to book a team dinner and they took a 27 person reservation on 5 hours notice. The front end staff are incredible. Friendly, fast, flexible. It was a great experience and we would love to come back. Back of house we didn't get a chance to meet, but fast and delicious food flew out of the kitchen and break-neck speed. Hot, fresh. I can't say enough about what they managed to pull off for us last night. CUDOS!!! We'll be back

Great food, we had the platter for 2. Stuffed my face off because it was that good I couldn't stop eating. Will absolutely be back for the pig roast in the summer.

Great food and well priced. Our server was great had worked there since she was 14 and was in her 30s. Shows a lot about a place and how they treat employees, would definitely support them again.

TL;dr: ignore the dated and forgotten exterior and give this place a try!Sooooo yummy! We came in without knowing what to expect and we were not let down! We ordered the Greek platter B for two (Greek salad, lamp chops, beef, chicken, rice pilaf, pita, tzatziki, humus, dolmades, spanikopita, tiropita, and roast potatoes) and not one item disappointed. That said, this can easily be shared among four. We arrived with a relatively healthy appetite and barely finished half.There is some room for improvement (caveat: this is basically a gun to your head

Savvios Family Restaurant
Lovely, festive, unique and cozy atmosphere -- even better food!! My partner and I came in last weekend and had a wonderful, comfortable, and delicious experience. Service was good for sure, but it's the kalamari, beef & chicken souvlaki, rice, potato, and salad dishes that will be bringing us back (can't wait to!). An absolute delight!! Cheers :D
