Wilson Dana Dr

I waited 9 months for this appointment, spent almost $50 in rides to get to and from this appt (I am on ODSP) just for Dr Wilson to spend 5 minutes (if that) with me and then tell me to go do physiotherapy. I have Scheuermann's Kyphosis (spine disease) physio does NOTHING for this disease at my age. I have done physiotherapy in the past with 0 results. You need surgery which involves steel rods in your back. I am now back at square one and have to wait 12 months to see another surgeon. I am tired of doctors acting like this disease is painless and doesn't affect ones quality of life. More orthopedic surgeons need to do more research so that this disease in known in Canada. Orthopedic surgeons in America are very aware of Scheuermann's and treat patients accordingly. Yes I'd go to the states but I'm on disability therefore can not afford the transportation, accommodations or to pay for the surgery and recovery. I feel like my appt with Dr. Wilson was a huge waste of my time. I honestly question why I was dismissed, is it because I also have Multiple Sclerosis? I've heard that if your too difficult of a case orthopedic surgeons will refuse you because they want thier success rate to remain high. Woww, at the expense of others.

Had an operation 10 days ago and Dr Wilson, and his staff were great. Already had a phone consultation with him and he was very friendly and informative in answering all my questions. Kudos also to his receptionist, Brenda, who has been very polite and helpful in organizing things. Staff at the Day Operation Unit at Trillium were also very nice. Pain free for first time in a long while.

I am deeply disappointed and disheartened by my experience with Dr. Dana Wilson as my orthopedic spine surgeon. Despite suffering from chronic low back pain due to epidural fibrosis, I was left to fend for myself with no support or follow-up care from the doctor. Furthermore, the administrative assistant, Brenda, lacked any sense of compassion, making the experience even more trying. Her strict and unsympathetic voicemail message left me feeling unheard and unsupported.Dr. Wilson's lack of knowledge and concern for his patients is unacceptable. I had waited months and years for this appointment, and once he had done what he could, he simply gave up on me. It is my hope that one day, both Dr. Wilson and Brenda will understand the pain and suffering of their patients and treat them with the care and empathy they deserve.

I can't say enough about Dr Wilson and Brenda, yes wait time is long but well worth it. I am fused from l1 to s1. I have 2 rods and 18 screws. I am 70% better and grateful for that the rest is on me, keeping up with aquafit I have seen more improvement. The nerve pain has not gone away, but Dr Wilson knows what he is doing.

Dr Wilson was very nice and polite. The secretary Brenda is a horrible human being. A Nightmare! Lied to me about having received my M.R.I. from Purolator. Then sent me on a wild goose chase trying to find them. Waited a long time to get a M.R.I. and that's how you treat people? For shame Brenda! Worst experience ever.

Drove my mother 2 hours to see Dr.Wilson to find a note hanging on the door saying the doctor won't be back till Nov 25th. Her appointment was for today. We double and triple checked to make sure we were not mistaken. She even received a confirmation call for her appointment today. However, No call from the office to reschedule, nothing on the answering machine, nothing at all. Can't believe a doctors office would be that inconsiderate. I was told by another receptionist that my mother was the second person to show up for an appointment while they were away. Extreamly disappointing. Now miss an appointment with a doctor and your paying up to $150. Our expenses are not going to be replaced.

I recently had back surgery performed by Dr. Wilson, in tandem with Doctor Marmor....what I refer to as the DYNAMIC DUO! Absolutely the best in the health profession. If you require spinal surgery make sure that you're lucky enough to be referred to these 2 great surgeons. We're FORTUNATE to have such wonderful surgeons that are dedicated and willing to help their fellow Canadian where others who were more concerned about fortune went to practice across the border. Canada is EXTREMELY FORTUNATE to have these 2 top notch surgeons!

I just got off the phone with Dr Wilson, lucky no surgery needed this time. Dr D Wilson has given me so many great years and the use of my legs. I feel very lucky to have been given my first surgery at 22 and another years later. He is very professional as well as Brenda who I feel keeps everything organized. I do have lots of pain as I get older but feel he would fix what needs fixing. Dr Wilson and Brenda, Thank you for giving me a better quality of life.

I have worked retail for almost 30 years. My back was always sore stiff and sometimes my feet fell asleep. Then it progressed to other areas eventually I couldnt stand for more then 20 minutes without excruciating pain. I couldn't sit or sleep.I went to my family dr. He ordered a back x ray.Got a blow when I found out I had one vertebrae slipped off almost completely.By this point it was 2019 what should have only been a few months took over a year.No fault to Dr Wilson. Covid hit.But I got lucky after being on disability for about 8 months an angel named Brenda called. you want surgery in 2 weeks?"If I could have jumped i would have....The surgery went well.Only set back was covid prevented my family from seeing me in hospital.But within a day I was walking with a walker. Then within a month without a walker after 3 months without a brace and no longer on any medications for pain.In fact I am back at work. I know my limits but I can do retail again... on my feet 9 hours a day 40 hours a week.I just had my 1 year final appointment and I am doing great. My bones have healed. But I'm sure i will set off metal doctors at airports.I highly recommend dr Wilson. He is a true healer and kind man who was born to change lives.Brenda is the greatest as well. Kind

Dr Wilson is fantastic. Very knowledge and compassionate. After years of suffering, Dr Wilson was able to identify the cause of my pain and recommended surgery. He operated on my spine and helped me tremendously. Thank you Dr. Wilson! I am forever grateful
