I just called and they refused to help me because of the nature of my complaint. I would only use for easy, straight forward issues. They basically told me no appointments

2016 I was left in the lurch by this company, and the lawyer they provided Nicolls. I went to great lengths as I was homeless at the time and swindled out of many $1000 of dollars, and was promised by the lawyer they would help after I sought the help of Consumer Protection. I did so, and the lawyer even spoke with Consumer Protection. In the end, due to time lines, Consumer Protection could not do anything, though they directed me to the lawyer, as they said it seems I would have a good case, in court. The lawyer ghosted me by having his staff give me the run around, ignoring emails and calls, until the timeline to file in the courts passed. I even contacted the law association, and because this lawyer did not draw up a contract with me, they couldn't do anything. Empty promises. They are pro Bono only if it doesn't cost them.

Extremely disappointed with their services. The articling student do not deliver in time and there is no accountability whatsoever. You call the main line and all you can speak with is the reception desk. I perilously came close to a breach of an order coz they decided to turn back on their commitment. I understand that they are low cost service provider but I had extremely disappointing experience with the timely delivery of service.

The most irresponsible and carefree organization I have ever known, I have been waiting for a turn for more than a month, their phones do not accept messages and their website is closed, no reply to emails,

Thanks to Attorney Megan Tweedie for helping us when we were feeling helpless, and she helped us defend the hearing and eventually won the case. Her service attitude is very good and I am very touched by her integrity and kindness. Thanks to The Access Pro Bono Society of British Columbia for helping our students defend our rights for free.

I needed help regarding #WorkSafeBC appeal - front desk was no where close to under standing - she assured me she had noted down and someone will call - wait and wait for 3 weeks- no one called.For a 30m free consultation ?Wait for months ?And this is a system ?Free 30m consultation is also provided by private lawyers - but they asked me to pay retainer fee: 3000 and one said 550 CAD / Hour.I have again left message - will update my experience here.

I phoned and left a message for mandarin service. I had a quick called back. Very good advice was given and offered to call back if my friend sues me for losing his investment money. I was very pleased with his service, thank you !

I had the privilege to be assisted by Mr. Dustin Ellis. He is an EXCEPTIONAL lawyer and effective organizer. Very bright, intelligent, knowledgeable, quick thinking, quick minded, effective, and professional. He has helped us draft some documents and arguments, and sincerely I truly believe that his work and effort are of the highest caliber and easily comparable to, if not better than the one of top shelf lawyers. Few weeks ago I was feeling hopeless and distressed, but Mr. Ellis approached the issue in a very organized, assertive, and well thought through manner and took the weight off our shoulders. He took the stance of a true leader and drafted an excellent, elaborate, meticulous and strong response and affidavit. Today, with his help and expertise, we have the confidence to proceed. I am SO thankful for people like him who make this world and community a better place. It is also important to mention that from my observation, he is an excellent and thoughtful coordinator. He is giving his lawyers autonomy and thus confidence, guidance, and insight where needed to be. He paired us with one of his amazing lawyers- Kasia Trocinski, who not only spoke our language, but worked extremely hard and diligently on our file putting in some serious thought and work. Saying that we are highly impressed and satisfied is not enough. Words cannot express our gratitude for these two. Finally, my overall experience with Access Probono has been nothing but positive. Every person, every volunteer there were always very polite, friendly, and willing to help. We always got a response either the same day or the next and our concerns were always met and assisted. Another lawyer we had the pleasure to talk to via Access Probono was Mr. Joshua Nobleman. Again, we were extremely impressed. He listened to our concerns, managed to read few documents and gave us an insightful advice and counter arguments in as little as half an hour. Very quick minded, bright, and effective.
