Super 8 by Wyndham Lachenaie/Terrebonne

Do not stay here if you are in a group! The day staff are nice but the night manager is horrible. They do not want anyone socializing at all and will not let adults sit quietly to chat in the lobby (even during the day they stack up all the tables and chairs) Instead of speaking to clients like human beings the night manager prefers to stand at the desk and yell at people (The very FIRST time she speaks to them!). We were told that if we wanted to sit and talk with our friends we should go rent a cottage instead. The board room is Very small, has no TV and is WAY overpriced! Do not waste your money! Although the slide is nice for kids it's not worth the older rooms, overwhelming smell of strong cleaning products (covering damp/moldy smells?) and a very mediocre breakfast. This hotel is the opposite of welcoming. There are many other hotels in the area that would be much better value and experience for your money! I will not be returning!

Gross unit. The toilet seat cover was yellow. The blue carpet was stained. I found the front desk staff to be unfriendly. I stayed here for two nights and will never return.

We are hiring!Due to all COVID restrictions being lifted and an influx of revenue and new customers, we are seeking to hire extra night managers in order restrict any form of quiet socializing and leisure within our hotel premises.Hours: 11pm to 8am, Friday-SundayRequirements:- Yelling at adults.- Memorize ridiculous, outdated company policies and recite them aggressively to customers.- Poorly represent the Super 8 and Wyndham brands.- Make customers feel extremely uncomfortable to ensure they never return.- Reply to online reviews with a passive-aggressive undertone and deflect any accountability.Mixing water and lemons is considered a very strong asset.No problem resolution skills required.

First time, it was fine except for the odor. Someone seemed to have had a hair perm done in my room the day before. We tolerated it, we did not complain but ultimately, i would have guessed that the cleaning staff would have reported it and we would have gotten another room but that did not happen. The second time, nothinf to complain about.

Hotel is a bit old and basic, but you don’t feel uncomfortable. It would be nice if they can upgrade a bit toiletries. I booked a family suit. Kids enjoy so much in their private section, a bunk bed and X box. Swimming pool is ok, not too big but at least a slide for kid and hot tub for adult. Complimentary breakfast, service is fine and price reasonable. Overall a good experience.

First the pros:Check in was quick.Now for the cons:We didn't get the room we reserved. The guy gave us a different room and didn't say a word. They didn't fix the issue for us although they made an attempt to provide extra bedding.Funny smell everywhere. Takes a day to get used to it.The place is dark. When you see how dirty it is you realize why.Tiny parking lot that got slammed with cars for some baseball tournament. Get ready to park on the road if it's busy.Slide was broken. The tiles in the pool are slippery as f$&k be careful!!!The place has hot water....but it will scald your children so don't leave them unattended in the bathtub!Breakfast is terrible. Luckily the locals enjoy eating and there's a breakfast diner in every mall.The area around the hotel is an absolutely horrendous dead zone full of boring condo towers and mini malls.This hotel will likely get turned into a seniors residence within a few years. Otherwise they should just burn it to the ground

Enjoyed our stay. Room was good, and the suburban area was really nice although further from Montreal attractions than we had thought (our fault). Service was decent but they seemed overwhelmed at times, and the single elevator was slow. Our daughter really enjoyed the pool and slide. Breakfast was disappointing, especially when they are out of essentials.

Room was nice. The beds are on a flat frame so my mattress would slide around a lot. Bathroom was a bit cramped. But it was clean. Staff was friendly.Breakfast was lack luster. Hard boiled eggs, bread fruit. Very basic.
