I have attended many events hete over the years and always find the staff very helpful and friendly. I purchased some tickets for an event in October and when I said I preferred to pick them up in advance they were ready immediately.

Delighted that dogs are welcome inside the front part, so we will be visiting the beach and calling in for a coffee at some stage. Excellent location for access to the beach and walk along the coastline.

Great place for shows and entertainment. We went to the craft fair by day and comedy play by night. Fantastic value for money and wonderful view by the sea

Whitby Pavilion
Fantastic place, historic, supposedly haunted. A traditional theatre/cinema. Some seriously excellent performances. Bar, lounge ,circle, stalls and it is by the sea. If you are in Whitby support this venue. A classic case of use it or lose it. But if you support this one you could really enjoy yourself!

Great little venue. It's in Whitby literally almost on the beach. The views are great. There are some regular staff who are there and they are amazing, friendly, polite and caring- this is so nice to experience.Theatre is great. It's quite old school and basic in style but not run down. I've enjoyed the plays I've seen thoroughly. The ushers are nice too.Toilets are clean. There is a little reasonably priced cafe. They do have some gluten free sandwiches available some times. They often host events like Goth weekend and steampunk weekend things here. There is wheelchair access and a lift to the bottom floor and ground floor (the lift doesn't go to the top floor which is only an entrance with a small area before you go downstairs to the main floor- so you aren't missing anything much)

Great venue for gigs, has plenty of space, a market before the bands, its own café/diner for food right in the middle of the band changes. It's covered and well heated.

Had a great time 6 years attending for Whitby Steampunk event. Welcoming town more individual than most. The Pavillii is quiet good it would benefit from a sweep and tidy around the steps and view points over the wall due to cigarette butt's and dog mess. Inside all good, perhaps a bit more attention to the loos.Whitby town if fantastic great bars pubs and food 100% a place to visit.

A scenic and spacious venue, Whitby Pavilion was the perfect spot to set up a festival during Whitby Goth Weekend! The venue is pretty tucked away but it adds to its charm and is really easy to navigate to. I would recommend trying to car park above and walking down rather than trying the [quite narrow] spaces closer. One issue we faced here was surrounding the catering at their café. The staff were unable to confirm if some food options were vegan friendly like chips or the sweet potato curry. Staff's knowledge of the food should be improved in this regard or providing more significant options for vegans would be great! The venues arena was large and hosted a lot of people during the events I attended here. The sound was also really great! The views from the Pavilion are also great, with a spectacular view over the seafront.
