We have been coming to this restaurant for a long time to buy a variety of barbecued and roasted meats, and I have never had an issue with them aside from the fact that you may have to preorder certain items especially for Chinese New Years and various other holidays (as they sell out quick if you do not go early). Always pick and choose the piece of meat you’d like as you may get one not necessarily to your liking. Personally, I prefer the BBQ pork to be more lean, so I will choose the piece I’d like or ask them to pick out a piece that is more lean. The flavors itself is comparable to restaurants in Toronto or at times, even better. I am very happy that we have at least one restaurant that sells authentic Chinese BBQ items in Windsor. Would highly recommend.

A pretty good Cantonese (Hong Kong) style restaurant that you can find in Windsor, the quality is as good as you can get in Hong Kong. The flavor is authentic and the menu selection is great. The price is reasonable. The service is good if you can speak Mandarin or Cantonese however their English is acceptable so bear with them. It is very popular and it can get pretty crowded. They also have set meal for those who wants something simple and cheap.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!As many others have mentioned, scale is behind the counter and cashier will not show you the weight and price.When cutting the pork, I have caught them switching old pieces of pork that is hidden in the corner of their cutting area as I stood on my toes and peeked quickly. I said I didn’t want that old piece of meat and they sheepishly removed it.Today was the final straw. They said their scale doesn’t work. LOL! How can you charge by the weight if you don’t have a scale?This Chinese restaurant should be ashamed for their tactics.Are there any decent, honest Chinese restaurants in Windsor?

We ordered takeout, the food was ready in time and came out hot. We had a few combos and a couple of sides. The portion sizes were very large and the food was good.In the store, there are many authentic food options and they have a display in the front window. Parking around the restaurant can be a challenge. So give your self a little time or get delivery.

We went there for dinner yesterday and enjoyed it that we decided to go there for lunch today. The restaurant is clean, bright and had a modern look. The food portions are huge and tastes good. I would definitely frequent this place.

I went to buy roast pork yesterday and all I get is meat and no skin at all. They gave me remnants of the meat. And also, I noticed that you cannot see the actual weight of what you're buying because the weighing scale is hidden below the counter. When I got home I weigh it and it's not even a 2lbs. I paid almost $50. I think this place is cheating customers. Place the weighing scale on top of the counter where people can see.

The Best Won Ton soup I have EVER had !! Sun Hong is the premier restaurant in Windsor for dim sum and BBQ pork. They have a variety of items on spot cooked and ready for take out. We highly recommend Sun Hong BBQ for ALL your everything's ! Unbelievable. Incredible. Absolutely Amazing!! LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

Excellent Chinese Food freshly made with nice BBQ options with their menu. Always friendly staff. Also BBQ takeout with chicken, pork and other Chinese BBQ food. Reasonably priced.
