I bought a bag of Perle beans from IGA to give it a try. It was advertised as Light Medium roast. I don't like giving a negative review especially that coffee is a matter of personal taste but Light Medium roast shouldn't be bitter or have any burnt beans after taste. I tried it in different coffee machines with different grind settings but the end result was a cup of coffee with bitter after taste. I know that some people like it and it's totally fine for a dark roast but it's not what I bought. Light Medium roast can be a bit sour but not bitter.

I ordered coffee (online) from this establishment recently. I am writing this so that others can benefit from my experience and not having to go through the same nightmare. I never received a confirmation of my order after I placed the order (I have to write an email to get one). For some perspective, I have previously order on line from a relatively small coffee shop. Typically, you would receive an order confirming your order along with a link to get updates on the status of your order. None of that happened with this shop. After I received confirmation of my order , I tried to follow up via phone to get a status update. Nobody answers the phone, and automatically goes around in circles asking repeatedly for your language preference. To top all up, I did not receive the coffee that I ordered; but instead I received what, perhaps, the shop have on stock. What a customer experience!
