Hidden Fee might happen. After the oil leak inspection and oil change service, This place charged me engine shampoo & power washer. This attached pictures are the status of engine after service. No washing but charge. Called them to explain, they said they cleaned the suspected leaking points. Unbelievable, as I saw, those points are uncleaned. It might cost a lot if having the service in this store, be careful of that.

Just moved to Oakville and needed an independent auto mechanic to service my Mini Cooper S. I dealt with Paul who was very prompt to respond to my inquiries, ordered the parts I needed and was really pleasant to deal with when I bought my car in on the day of my appointment. No surprises, no pressure, and I was kept informed of the progress and pickup time for my car through text messages, that included completed work and informative pics. Overall a great experience and I will be glad to bring my car back to Mark's Auto Service going forward.

After reviewing the positive reviews, I decided to give a first time visit to service my new car, for a standard oil change. Paul, a service advisor, showed me the garage, gave me all the details around the shop. What a great customer experience to be heard but also have a long term vision to be customer obsessed. I will take my second car to the shop to have the team provide an assessment of what needs to be maintained as well. Looking forward to building a long lasting partnership with Mark's Auto Service. I received outstanding service at Mark's Auto when I took a vehicle there for a pre-purchase mechanical inspection. They took the time to walk me through every aspect in detail and while I was waiting a longtime customer called just to say their cat had died, so clearly they have a dedicated customer base. Mark's had more patience and warmth than I've found at most dealerships I've been to.

READER'S BEWARE - PLS READ CAREFULLY !!!I had a half-day off from a busy business schedule and this auto shop was available to see me on the spot - I was looking for rear rotor resurfacing as there were smudgy contaminants on the rear rotors only (front rotors were spotless). Here are the pluses and (mostly) minuses of my experience:Pluses:1) Available when I called and checked me in right away2) Was explained the potential causes for my concern and recommended actions. Was told rear rotors were contaminated by too much grease applied which spilled on the rotors. Was also shown front pads were 3&4mm thick and was recommended replacement - which made sense. Was told rear pads (8mm thick) should be replaced - which I agreed to, although they could have just been thoroughly cleaned.3) Initial friendly contact/experience with Paul @ reception4) The rotors were resurfaced and contact surfaces with the pads are now clearMinuses:1) Was told front rotors should be resurfaced along with rears, although they were perfectly OK, but I agreed thinking I might as well do everything at once and get done for a while. All rotors were all very thick so no problem to resurface all2) Was provided a quote of 900CAD for 4 rotor resurfacing and brake pad replacement all around, which (everybody who has a clue about how much such a job would cost) should consider very high (double if not more than market average). However, as this was my half-day on which I could get this done, I accepted out of convenience3) Once the job was done and I left the shop/reached my residence, I noticed all rotors had rusty grooves all around the interior side towards the hub, which were not there before on any of the rotors. I emailed them back with pictures and was invited to come back next morning to address my concerns. This is where the customer service fun" begins - both Paul and the mechanic were adamant that having rust on a brand-new machined rotor is absolutely normal and they didn't seem to care about an (irate already) customer who expressed total dislike towards the appearance of the rotors

Marks Auto Service is fantastic, they’re very detailed in the diagnostic report they provide for your car when you bring it in for any service or repair. They’re transparent about the work they will be doing on your car, and provide you with the level of importance of each issue or maintenance need. I had to bring my car in for a sudden repair on a major issue and Paul was incredibly helpful. My car was looked at as soon as possible, the issue was identified in no time, and when I picked up my car my issue had been completely fixed. I didn’t have any doubts, they do a really great job here. I would recommend this shop to anyone!

Hinge and panel replacement on my BMW530e. Budd’s BMW Oakville said it would take 4-6 weeks to get the part from Germany. Marks got the part the next day, scheduled an appt, had the work done in one hour and even washed my car. Mark is very personable. A really good experience overall. I have no qualms recommending Mark’s Auto.
