GO Bus Terminal

Good connectivity across Ontario cities.

Not perfect, the people were perfect but hooked up to Kennedy station was a mess, they need to put a big go station sign on every level and floor signs directing you!

Deplorable signage. Unclear and virtually nonexistent

The bus terminal is located at 81 Bay St.This pin isnt the new bus terminal.Just walk more east past the arena, and you'll see the sign.

Deducting 2 stars for lack of Ontario north land signage inside Union station. For go bus customers it’s probably easy but for us old timers traditional union greyhound terminal folk, you might be stressed out to find it. The Ontario north land bus schedule isn’t visible from Bay concourse hall, you gotta go through the signs to union station bus terminal, once you cross the upper bridge that has bright white lights on left side, then when you enter the sign will say Ontario northland and bus zone number and platform when it’s pulling up. Usually take yorkdale, but from union it was 10$ cheaper.

As good as it can be. Was my first time at the station and doing that trip and the people was very helpful

Very organized, clean and well-maintained. There are staff always available to help you. Finding your way is easy by following signs.

A bit of a walk from main part of Union Station (where the trains are) so plan ahead and give yourself more time to find it. Thankfully signage is very clear and I found the terminal and boarding gate easily. There's lots of seating, some vending machines, and public washrooms. Highly recommend you arrive 10-15 min before departure, to line up for boarding. Especially if you're traveling at peak hours or on a busy route.

It has its benefits over the old terminal (nice washrooms and indoor waiting area) but all in all it is just horrible design. Getting to this terminal from Union station is a ridiculous roller coaster of ups and downs, with terrible signage. Then when you get there, most buses are on the lowest level, so you have to walk down the stairs to get to your bus. Then when the bus leaves, it crawls at walking pace UP A RAMP to the second floor AND THEN BACK DOWN ANOTHER RAMP. It takes 5 minutes for the bus to get out of the terminal to the street even though the street is only 50 feet from where you get on the bus. Whoever designed this arrangement should be fired immediately.Go transit seems to have an obsession with the risk of people walking near buses at stations, even though the risk is very very low. So there's a whole bunch of unnecessary additional infrastructure here with locked glass doors to keep you away from the buses. It's very wasteful and I can only imagine the cost... Which we all bear in ticket prices.Then when you are in the bus, there's a recording played in two languages at every stop that tells you not to walk in front of a moving bus. Thanks for the tip! I'm sure that recording has saved precisely zero lives. oh I was gonna walk in front of this moving bus but the robot lady reminded me not to
