ATCO Gas

On Easter weekend our furnace went out, ATCO sent a technician (ID#11975) who went above and beyond to ensure we were up and running.Thank you ATCO for providing excellent customer service and employing kind technicians that get the job done quickly.Happy Easter.The Reids

I’d give zero stars if I could. Joke of a company. Absolutely terrible to deal with. Took 6 months to get through to anyone to talk about a new service. Now it’s getting cold and it’s still not dealt with. The person I have to deal with is terrible and difficult. I’ll avoid dealing with them at all cost in the future. There is one person who has helped tremendously and been very helpful.

So I came home after work tonite and found a huge chain link fence in front of my door and my garden stuff moved and also a big hole . Atco gave notice they were replacing the gas lines in my area but did not inform me of what was in front of my door. Now I am thinking why would they do this kind of work in the late fall and not when the weather is nicer and why do they do this just before Christmas. We have a tradition of decorating our house for our grandchildren and the people of the community to enjoy.Also family and friends who come to visit from all over. Well it seems Atco does not seem to care about the season and families gathering which is horrible. Now I must cancel because once again money and greedy companies can do what they want and do not care about families and traditions. Thought this only happened in movies and I thought Atco cared about the effects there actions would have on families but this only proves the big guys only care about themselves. So one of the workers said it will not be done until mid January and we just have to deal with it. Everyday so far I have seen workers just standing around chatting and thinking they will have a good Christmas with all the money they make standing around or not even in sight. So sad the big wigs always win and can do what they want without any feelings towards the real important thing that matters, families who pay their wages. So this Christmas will be a bust for me and not a darn thing I can do about it but just wanted to make sure Atco got this review. So MERRY CHRISTMAS ATCO .Did not want to choose a star out of 5 but it forced me to pick 1.

I had issues with my furnace and my gas company was zero help. The customer service on the phone was amazing, understood everything I asked, and ensured someone would come by the same day since I had no heat. For the actual service, it was very fast, extremely helpful and friendly, explained every step and why he was doing what he was and how to prevent the issue in the future. Absolutely will be always going back in the future! I wish I had gotten my technicians name so I could give him an exceptional review.

Hot water tank not heating water. Called ATCO Lethbridge office and explained I had just had surgery so had trouble relighting tank myself. Within 2 hours of calling had a very nice ATCO tech show up and relight for me. Thanks for the good service

Our furnace had a burning smell when it started up in the cooler weather. I called ATCO and spoke with Colleen who managed to squeeze in a furnace inspection within a few days. I certainly appreciated the quick service during what is likely a very busy time. Doug came to the house during the scheduled time and inspected the furnace and water heater and alleviated my concerns. Thanks Colleen and Doug for your friendly, caring customer service!

WORST company ever. Not even 1 star - NO stars if I could.We has moved houses and had issues getting our utilities hooked up. ATCO came and said he was about to lock up our line, but thankfully we were there and explained the situation. ANOTHER ATCO person came the next day (Friday) and locked it. No notice of the lock AT ALL. Found out Saturday it was pinned and everywhere was closed for the weekend. We have an 11 month old!!! No compassion WHATSOEVER. Spoke with multiple customer service reps and supervisors. They are even trying to charge us a reconnection fee. Day 5 without gas… with a child. Thanks ATCO! JOKE of a company.

Atco ripped up part of my front yard this spring removing hedges and grass and replaced it with weeds. They did not replace my hedges or grass. I am extremely disappointed with their so called effort to restore my yard to what it was previous to their work. I understand that they need to do repairs from time to time but they should have to fix what they destroyed.

I called this morning because I could smell gas in my garage and they sent out a technician immediately, I couldn't believe how fast he showed up and diagnosed the problem and was on his way,. I'm so grateful for these guys coming out in the freezing cold. Thanks ATCO
