Lion's Farmers Market

Super fresh produce, excellent quality with reasonable prices. Fresh strawberries, peaches, cherries.

I was looking forward to getting lots of produce before the summer was over but I was underwhelmed as they have very few sellers at this Wednesday market.On the brighter side I was able to snag this huge bag of almost 30 peppers for $15, that’s a steal! I will check out the other market that runs on Sunday

Good farmers market in Mississauga. Good choices of fresh fruits and vegetables. Fresh bakery items are good as well.

It's a very small market with just a handful of vendors. I was there today and there was someone selling honey, another vendor selling flowers and a fruit/veggies vendor.The same organization runs another market on Sundays with more vendors. This one is in a great location but the variety just isn't there.

We always look forward to buy fresh produce at the farmers market (square one location). However, on Sunday Oct 16, we bought a bushel of apples and a basket of nectarines. The male vendor put the whole basket in a black bag instead of taking back the basket (this is strange). We were very surprised after we opened the black bag at home, checking each nectarine, some were very rotten. As for the ambrosia, the top of the bag has regular size apples, BUT the bottom of the bag has mini size apples (see pictures). This is the only vendor that carried nectarines, peaches. When asked if these fruits were picked from their farms. The Mexican man said yes" and mumbled the farm name. We asked the lady (who wore ripped jeans)

Website says the Wednesday market is until 5pm, but we went a little after 4 and there was nothing, not even someone packing up for the day. We asked at one of the food trucks and was told everyone left earlier.

Love the produce and fruit. Everyone is so friendly. Plenty of parking. Cash,debit or credit no problem. I love this market at Living Arts Center every Wednesday.

More counters should be made available which can offer variety of vegitables and other necessary items

Great little farmers market with a number of very good stands. Wonderfully fresh produce.
