Even one star is overestimated. What a bloody terrible Shut hospital and staff here. They will not care about your life and feeling even u are dying.“The waiting time should be between 8-10 hours” that’s the only skill they have. I don’t see the meaning of existence of this emergency.I hope the staff there and their family will never get sick in their whole life :)))

I was there on April 16, 2023 Very professional service. These people from Admitting to Nurses and Doctors were like a well oiled machine. I was in and out in 2 hours that included blood work tests and xrays. These people were moving all the time. Give them a break they were all doing the best they can. Thankyou for all your help and outstanding service.

Poor communication skills from the desk lady. The statistics of time are a joke. Come here if you want to spend hours and bad treatment. If you think that you have to go to an emergency room think twice to come to this place. Waiting for hours, I saw people very ill, that have to leave because they were waiting for hours and not cued by someone caring or even showing the minimum empathy. Make yourself a favor and go to another hospital.

I came here this morning via an emergency vehicle and overheard the nurse upon registration say aloud “Oh it’s just some university student” as I am having severe chest pain from my ADHD medication, making me feel very low priority as she was making an assumption about me being on the medication for non medicinal reasons. Therefore making my symptoms less serious? Would not recommend this emerge.

I went in on a friday night around 11pm to get my ear checked out cause I had absolutely no hearing. The secretary told me it could be a very long wait, but they called me in after 5 mins, and I had a doctor to help me and look at me after about 20 mins max, I had a perforated eardrum. They gave me a prescription and had me out ofthere in under an hour. Very pleased!!

I am writing this review to express my utmost dissatisfaction with the quality of care and customer service provided by Western university hospital and emergency center. My mother recently underwent surgery at this hospital, and the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.Following the surgery, my mother developed alarming symptoms, including numbness in her face, hands, and toes, difficulty breathing, chest/stomach pain and constipation. These symptoms clearly indicated a need for immediate medical attention. However, the nurses and doctors failed to provide the urgent care that was required.Despite registering and arriving at the hospital through an ambulance, we were subjected to an excruciatingly long waiting time of 6-7 hours. This delay in treatment, even in an emergency situation, is simply unacceptable. It is disheartening to witness such an utter disregard for the well-being and urgent needs of patients.Furthermore, the customer service from the receptionist lady is deplorable. The staff exhibited a lack of empathy and failed to demonstrate any understanding of the distressing situation we were in. They are laughing, gossiping, giving side eyes while people are worried is a shocking nature to see. Their indifference towards the suffering of patients and their families is deeply troubling.Attempts to contact the doctors were equally futile. The doctors rarely picked up the phone, and when they did, their responses were dismissive and unhelpful. They did not ask pertinent questions to understand the severity of the situation and simply recommended going to the Emergency department without providing any guidance or reassurance.I strongly advise anyone considering seeking medical care to steer clear of unless there are absolutely no other options available. The lack of prompt treatment, poor customer service, and the interminable waiting times demonstrate a complete disregard for the well-being and safety of patients. It is imperative to choose a healthcare facility that values the lives and concerns of its patients.I hope that my review serves as a warning to others and prompt to reevaluate its practices and prioritize the urgent needs of patients in the future.

Brought husband in at 1030am to ER with severe abdominal pain. Pain goes from 7/10 to 9/10. About 230pm he started to have leftsided chest pain. Asked how much longer it would be told a couple mote houts evdn though he was trisged as emergent. Went back at 315 to see about the reassessment. Triage is too busy. 330pm still has not been reassesed or seen by Dr. still in wIting room. We tried our Family Dr first but she referred us to ER.

Seeing all these people hate on the staff urks me. These are a great bunch of hospital staff. Yes, the wait times are horrendous. But they have limited room from what i could see. And limited staff. So appreciate that you can go here and get health care at all. I appreciate the care I got while I was there. They were nothing but nice and considerate. Thanks to all the UH staff for sticking in there.
