I have had the privilege to complete a couple of months of personal training with James and it has been tremendous.The facility itself is clean, tidy and very well-kept. It is a very open space, that allows for multiple different types of exercises. Especially during COVID, these are great attributes to hold.James himself is a very well rounded trainer. Offering full support to all activities, lending advice on technique and pushing you further when needed. I found James to be flexible in timing, knowledgable when providing feedback and thoroughly committed to you as a client. With his friendly demeanour and disposition, I enjoyed showing up to work out each and every time we had a session scheduled.Overall, I was very impressed during my time here and would highly recommend James' personal training services.

My son has been taking karate for 2 years now and I highly recommend Kazoku Martial Arts. Sensei James is amazing with the kids and is a great teacher! Even during social distancing my son has been able to continue learning through live zoom classes. There is also recorded classes available if you cannot make the live class or for extra practice. He makes learning fun and goes above and beyond!

The facility itself is a nice clean place, and there is an open space for all activities, it so comfortable. My kids really enjoyed their time at Kazoku. It’s a really good for kids and the teachers are super nice and helpful. Sensei James is amazing. He is very flexible and knowledgeable when it comes to teaching children karate and I am very impressed with his patience and technique. Overall, I highly recommend coming here if you’re wanting to learn karate.

Sensei James over at Kazoku Martial Arts in Galt (Cambridge) is fantastic with kids of all ages and energy levels. My son has been going there for nearly two years and we are so happy/fortunate we found this dojo on our first try!

Sensei James is an amazing instructor. The teaching environment is welcoming for families, fun and educational for the kids. Our son has ADHD and had challenges at another karate studio but with Sensei James he is doing great. Sensei James works with the kids and what challenges they have and sees it as a plus instead of a minus. My daughter is also at the club and both kids are happy to go to karate and they say they like it because it is so much fun and Sensei James (and the other coaches) are so nice.

I started kickboxing classes with Kazoku Martial Arts since the early summer of 2021 and it has helped me immensely with my weight loss goals. I’ve dropped four sizes and it has completely changed the shape of my body. I feel strong and it has also become a great way for release stress from everyday living. James is a great instructor who is attentive to individual needs and cautious of form and safety at all times. The dojo is now offering TRX classes too which I can’t wait to try out!!

It is the most warming and welcome Martial arts center. The senseis are great, always make the kids feel great, appreciated and value their hard work. My daughter enjoy so much her classes. Thank you sensei Hamoon, sensei Samira and Sensei James for all your support, care and amazing classes.

Excellent facility and instructors. James help every student and pushes you to get better at karate and movement. James approach to karate is both traditional and contemporary based on research and experience. TRX and kickboxing classes are also good and helpful for weight loss. I would recommend this place for personal training, karate and weight loss. I wish i was aware about this place before.

Sensei James provides a funfilled safe and positive environment for kids to be themselves and learn the art of karate. My kid not only learns the movements but the history and language of the karate sport. His patience and kindness allows for everyone to learn at their own pace. Sensei James' passion, organization, and creativity is what keeps my kid wanting to return each day! On top of that, the competitive team provides the opportunity for my child to push himself, build his confidence, and gives him a different perspective of karate. Our experience at Kazoku has exceeded our expectations! We are so happy to be a part of this team and dojo.
