Sun Peaks Lodge

Tried calling them but could not get thru so left a message. Went on line and cancelled reservation thought all was good. Got a call after that informing me that the reservation had been cancelled and my card charged. When I questioned why I was told it is their policy to charge with less than 7 days notice. I said it is 5 days ahead of the booking but was told sorry there are no exceptions. I asked if the hotel was full at this time of year, was told it wasn’t my business. I asked to speak to this persons boss and was told “I am the manager and owner” basically I do as I please.I suggest not booking at this fly by night establishment as all they want is your money!

DO NOT STAY HERE ! Manager was very rude, terrible customer service. Stayed 3 days here and on the last day we still had one more day of snowboarding. So after checking out, we asked if we could store our luggage in a another room so we can spend the morning on the mountain. We understand with Covid it makes it difficult with cleaning times, but when it was brought up to to manager she was very very rude. She had no solutions to help us. All she did was get angry we even asked for help. We asked if could do a late check out and they gave us an extra 30 minutes (Regular checkout at 10). We had no car and our shuttle was not arriving until 430. She did not care about what happened to us or our stuff. We ended up calling multiple hotels in the sun peaks area, and they ALL were happy to help us store our luggage, even when we were not customers at their establishment. Definitely would not recommend to anyone. Go to the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel they actually care about their customers.

Outstanding location with amazing views, wish I planned to stay longer then one night.There is only thing I would recommend, never ever follow your GPS and leave going left out of the parking garage. The street turns into a dirty logging road a little ways up and it will be down hill from there. If you hit a dirty road for the love of god TURN AROUND!!!!!

Great hotel in Sun Peaks. Room excellent, steakhouse restaurant attached to hotel was simply brilliant, with superb attentive staff.

Nice cozy spot. Great location and great service. The hot tub/spa area was nice and appeared to be newly renovated.They could be a little more attentive to the cleanliness of the rooms.

Great experience staying here.The spa was clean and always stocked with fresh towels.The snowboarding storage were great especially being able to access it without having to go through the lobby.The only cons was that our room was extremely warm even with the heat turned off and the balcony door cracked and since room service only comes every other day it would have been great if they supplied 2 packs of coffee grounds but neither of those took away from the experience too much. Also, there seems to be no parking. We had to park a 5 minute walk in P2 and pay for parking every day we were there.

Very nice & clean lodge.I shared the double room with another person from the group tour I was traveling with; the room is a bit small for 2 people sharing.Other than this it is an excellent place to spend a couple of nights. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance which is very convenient.
