Our family loves our delux Backcountry hot tub. We had lots of questions and the team answered them all promptly and patiently. The quality is fantastic. We were worried that it would take a long time to heat in winter temperatures (we are in Ottawa) and it has not been an issue.

I recently ordered a large 10 foot panoramic barrel sauna from Backcountry Recreation & everything was excellent. They helped me choose the right sauna suitable for my cottage! It was organized very well from delivery time & all the components for the sauna. Service was excellent as well & very helpful staff to answer all your questions. Looking forward to enjoy the new sauna in the months to come!

Backcountry have definitely delivered a high quality and customer friendly sauna. It was easy to set. My 14 year old daughter and I did it in a few hours. We use it almost every day and sing it's praises constantly to everyone. I recommend this company to all my friends and co-workers. We love it.

I purchased a wood fired deluxe tub with liner last year (2022). What an amazing and wonderful hot tub! It's been a game changer at the cabin. Rainy days? no problem - jump in the tub! Cold spring weather and you can't swim? You can now - and just jump in the tub right after to warm up. The kids love it, it's great for the whole family...and I don't have to worry about this model. Maintenance is essentially zero. It truly heats up fast. I don't know how, but it works and with an armful of good wood I can climb in in about 90-120 minutes tops. I've travelled many places this winter but I just kept thinking about relaxing in the hot tub as soon as I can open up the cabin. Incredible service from start to end. I feel I can trust Backcountry Rec and I look forward to my next purchase with them.

We are absolutely over the moon with our new XL wood fired deluxe Hot Tub. We had additional logistics of having to barge our Hot Tub to our island cottage and the Team at Back Country ensured constant communication and ensured the Hot Tub arrived ahead of schedule with time to spare. The Tub itself is top notch with gorgeous quality gray fiberglass, quality insulated cover, stairs and everything you need to get going. What blew us away was how quickly the tub heated up (from 60 degrees to 103 degrees in few hours) and even more impressive was how little heat loss there is over night with the insulated cover.Perhaps most important is that the whole family can enjoy the tub with fresh chemical free lake water. No skin irritation!Highly recommend the Deluxe XL! You won't be disappointed!

Dealing with Backcountry was great from start to finish. They assisted us in ordering the right product, ensured an on-time delivery in 2021 to our rural Ontario property and assisted us over the phone to trouble-shoot getting the hot tub to seal completely.Construction of the hot tub was easy, with step-by-step instructions available online which we referenced on our cell phones while building. We took our time building it as a family project over two days with our pre-teen daughters.We were able to enjoy it within 72 hours of receiving it and use it all year round, from hot soaks après-ski to cool dunks on hot summer days.I have often recommended Backcountry to friends and will continue to do so.

We chose the smallest wood fired hot tub. We are very happy with how quickly it heats up, about 3 hours from cold water to soaking temperatures. The tub kit was easy to put together with great instructions. I would recommend this wood fired cedar tub.

I had an excellent experience with Backcountry Recreation! I researched online companies for awhile before contacting this group. After a few minutes of conversation, we pulled the trigger on the extra-wide 8 foot barrel sauna with tempered glass. I had a lot of questions and reached out to the company on many occasions throughout the process of having the materials freighted across the country, installing the sauna and heater, etc. Kenneth was always quick to reply and resolve any concerns that I had. The service was top notch and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality outdoor barrel sauna

This is a great Sauna! It took us a little longer than expected to assemble but with phone help from the Backcountry team we were able to figure it all out. Well worth the investment. Just perfect.

Got the 5' wood fired tub a few years ago, the service was good. Only issue were from the shipping company. Fairly easy to assemble. Answered questions I had quickly. Hope to buy a sauna from them sometime soon.
