I signed my daughter up for flute lessons approximately 2 months ago. They were very accommodating with days/times that she could attend lessons. Everyone is so friendly and there isn't any pressure to buy their instruments. Her instructor (bobby) is really good with Her (she's 8) he goes at her pace and doesn't rush her. My daughter had a difficult time finding something to do that she loves and now shes found it!! Also they are very affordable. Classes are $25/30 min once a week.

HAve been here a few times to get string and ask about instruments. They price about the same as anywhere, but they have a friendly staff anda very clean store. Buddy of mine takes lessons here and says he's enjoyed his time. It's a small shop and has a good selection of acoustic guitars, less so for electrics but what they have in stock has always been interesting and kept very well.

What an extraordinary group of people under one roof. We have been shopping here for years and the team is both very: knowledgeable and supportive of the community. A big thanks to Frank, Debbie and Josh for help my daughter build a two string bass guitar from scratch.

Dont come here bought strings and decided to try a guitar setup. The cash clerk apparently did the setup a poor job. And unprofessionalthen when the real tech frank natale worked on the guitar he also was rude and condescending and for supposed 46 years of experience, the guitar was done horribly as well. Do not support these people carelessRobbers.

The younger service gentleman (long hair) is top notch. Informative. Pleasant. The older gentleman -- different story. Will lie to your face to make a sale. Grin on the whole time. Empaths will sense it from the start, but If you want proof just ask him a couple questions you already know the answers to.Ex: - told me stock pickups on a Les Paul were EMGs because I asked Are those EMGs?"- told me an AC4TV was a VBM1 because I asked "Is that a VBM1?"- told me a guitar that's been there for 2+ years just came in because I asked "did that just come in?"I recommend Scarboro Music if you are a seasoned musician who needs to stop in on the way home for strings or something. Avoid if you know deep down you can be gullible with sales-people

I have bought 2 guitars here, Frank was unbelievably helpful and treated me like family! I have also taken lessons here for almost ten years. The staff has always been friendly. Debbie at the front desk always greeted me with a smile! I seriously recommend Scarboro Music for Music lessons, repairs, and all of your musical needs.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful. Even though I only got guitar strings, I was treated with stellar customer service. This shop is better than any other music store I have visited in Toronto.

This is way more awesome than your average music store. Josh, who runs the store, really creates a local music community, with his weekly jams, and special events (candy cane alley for the kids, food drive for local food banks). Of course there are lessons for kids, but also for adults new to playing music, and for adults like me taking up a new instrument. Rock on, Josh!
