Unexpected dine in place. Super friendly stuff and very nice Portoghese food. They have also a short but “researched” wine list. We had a bottle of Bocalhoa Cabernet Sauvignon and a bottle of Bocalhoa Branco, both really good! Definitely worth checking it out.

Super cute patio, and the staff provided amazing service. The portions are great and the prices are reasonable for both the food and drinks. I like my octopus a little more charred with a bit more salt but it was really great overall. Will be back forsure

For our first time here, we were pleasantly impressed. At first we thought since the restaurant is located in a somewhat commercial area, that it wouldn't meet our expectations. It's nestled within the well known upscale Caledonia Design District.It's splendidly and tastefully decorated inside and a recently expanded outdoor patio that transports you to Portugal. The food was excellent, well presented and competitive prices. We're going there again tomorrow with another couple who enjoy similar venues.

Everything we ordered was good especially the Passionfruit mousse, which is very light and refreshing. There is a nice patio at the back and plenty of seating inside.

Went with 2 bros for an early dinner. It was my second time dinning in this restaurant. We ordered Portuguese chicken, steak, sea bass and calamari. The sauces were made very well, which accomodated the bread well. Calamari was large and fresh. Also the sea bass. If you can eat a fish with bones, definitely try it.

Absolutelt loved it here. Went it for lunch and the portions are huge! Very tasty food. Great service. Prices are a bit on the high side, $25/entree; but we'll worth the price.

Disclaimer: Two colleagues of mine rated this a four star however personally I felt like it was a 3 star experience.To begin, we arrived at the restaurant and sat on a nice, quiet patio outside. To get to the patio one has to go through the entrance and to the left. The service was quite good. Our waiter was very accomodating and nice. If this restaurant was based on service alone I would give a perfect. However, the food I received was disappointing. I ordered the bitoque (steak with an egg) medium. On one hand, the steak was perfectly cooked and well done albeit on the salty side. The fries were a little mushy and definitely a little too salty. Overall, although the meal had potential, a tremendous amount of salt hindered the dining experience. Casa Portuguesa may be worth another try one day, but for now I'd say it's average; 3 stars. The service pulls up the rating in the end.

Highly Recommended! Wonderful restaurant with great decor, kind staff and excellent food. Daily specials give you many options to save a few dollars and the meals are certainly worth it. We got the grill sea bream and the pork cutlets with onion sauce. The fish was a surprise as it was whole, so do be careful separating the meat from the bones. It was very soft and delicious with the rice being very well cooked and aromatic. The pork cutlet was a bit dry, although I did enjoy the taste of the ‘onion sauce’ which was more like a piri piri pepper sauce. The Parisienne potatoes were tender and not too hard or soft. Both plates were generous portions and the salad was also fresh, although a bit oily. I recommended mixing it well to make sure you get a better spread of oil over all the vegetables and not just at the bottom of the bowl. Finally for dessert the Natas do Ceu has been the best one I’ve had in Toronto. Only downsides were the location, as there’s not much around the location and Caledonia is a busy street and the shot portion for the port wine. At $5 a larger serving would have been great but it’s not a big deal.
