Helpful staff. There was a good sale on so I got a good deal on the camera bag I was searching for. Have shopped here a number of times before and always had a good experience.

What I will say without going into details about my particular episode,is that everyone drops the ball on occasion, but not everyone picks it up. I would call my overall experience A+. Coulton is not only is technically astute, he also understands what a customer represents. Give the man a promotion!

Thank you to the friendly staff at McBain in St. Albert! When other stores were unable to repair my lens, they made an attempt and got it done that same day! Highly recommend coming here if you have any questions about photography or anything related!

On Feb 25th, 2022, the store was closing at 8PM and I called at 7:40PM asking if I arrive right at close, if they will be able to assist me, as I didn't want to be rude and be that customer. The employee was cheerful and let me know he was happy to stay and wait.Upon arriving at 8:02PM (now closed), I was greeted and treated with top-notch customer service. The employee I was dealing with was Raymar. Raymar has quickly set aside all of the items I wanted and confirmed serial numbers to ensure everything was correct before I even arrived! This was much appreciated.I purchased a Canon R6, Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8, 82mm Promaster UV Filter, and cleaning supplies. I ended up purchasing almost $7000 in items and Raymar could not have made the process any easier.Even though the store was closed, Raymar happily answered all of my questions and he taught me quite a bit. I ended up leaving the store 20 minutes after close.I am writing this review because I am very impressed with the service I have received from Raymar. I hope that he sees this review and realizes his customer service was much appreciated and refreshing. He definitely deserves a raise and a promotion!!I will be back for more camera gear in the near future as I have my eyes on a Canon RF 70-200mm.Thank-you McBain St.Albert, and Raymar!-Danny

The customer service from the young man working at the St. Alberta McBain store on Friday, June 17/22 was a 10 out of 10. He was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and he went above and beyond....this is what customer service is all about.

Was a fun little visit, bought a new lens cap looked at all the beautiful lenses talked shop a bit. Was good :)
