Gerald Cyr of Winnipeg HomeScapes recently completed an extensive renovation of our Winnipeg home.The project - which began in late May and wrapped up in August - involved numerous trades including carpenters, plumbers, electricians, tiling specialists, drywall, HVAC, and painters.Given the very large scope of work, we expected and encountered a few bumps in the road" but Gerald was always available to discuss solutions to ensure the project kept moving forward. Undertaking any kind of home renovations can be very stressful. Upon my initial meeting with Winnipeg Homescapes Owner and General contractor, Gerald Cyr, my worries and stress were greatly reduced. We discussed my vision, renovation direction and he offered valuable advice.Together we formulated a plan which was followed up by a comprehensive timeline including subcontractors names, contact information as well as a colour coded schedule indicating who would be working and what wow as being done.The efficient schedule was followed and work was completed on time the Project Manager, Rupert Schilling, was fantastic at trouble shooting. He worked along side of the subcontractors for this huge main floor remodel. The work ethic of the very skilled trades people is impressive. They put in long days and always left the work site remarkably tidy.I am thrilled with my “new” home. The island, floor, ceiling, lights and counters make me smile. I feel great walking into this beautiful space.
