Beautiful place for a picnic. Gentle rapids under and downstream of bridge. Pull outs on both sides of the highway. Great spot to stop.

Stop here often on the way to the cottage, always a nice break, listen to the creek flowing and stretch the legs.

Absolutely disgusting. visited the restrooms on Sunday and the smell was beyond any public washroom/portapotty I have ever been in. I literally puked on myself from the smell.

Eels Creek Rest Area
Kid needed a pitstop, this was the closest one. Pit toilets, lots of trees, a rapid river and short trail. Great place for the kids to stretch and get the crazies out before hitting the road again. Pretty sure there were some picnic benches but didn't use them. If you go on the trail maybe put some bug spray on. Also watch your kids near the edge of the water, rocky and a little steep.

Washrooms are clean, nice places to walk around and the creek runs through both rest areas on both sides of the highway for easy access
