Cardinal Carpentry is an absolutely excellent contractor. We have never had such a wonderful renovation experience. From the quote to the remodelling suggestions to the project execution, everything was always transparent and clear and questions were answered quickly and accurately. Kiki Meloche and her team are exactly what you need from a contractor. I recommend Cardinal Contracting wholeheartedly!

I used Cardinal Carpentry to renovate my downstairs bathroom. I was extremely pleased with the service I received and especially pleased with how my new bathroom turned out. Kiki, the owner, was extremely knowledgeable and always available to answer any questions I had. I was always kept in the loop and made aware of any decision that had to be made. The team of carpenters I had working on my bathroom were very talented and did such a great job. I chose a complicated tile pattern and their attention to detail made the end product look so great. They were also just a lovely group of people. I have nothing but great things to say, and Cardinal Carpentry will be my first call for anything else I need done around my home.

Kiki and her team at Cardinal Carpentry were incredible to work with. They were always on time, always respectful of my space and very clean. We were living at the house during the work that Kiki's team was doing and they made sure to all keep the dust contained and made every to keep me and my partner housed in a clean home at the end of every evening. Their quality of work is phenomenal and they are extremely communicative about the process. I would very proudly recommend their services over and over again.

Kiki is thorough, conscientious, and works to a very high professional standard. She stands by her work and guarantees it, correcting any issues promptly. She and her team helped us ready a new home during the early months of the pandemic which presented innumerable challenges for everyone concerned. We were impressed by the extensive measures she took for our safety and that of her team, while doing her best to meet deadlines. Perhaps her best qualities are her responsiveness and her skill at collaboration. She NEVER goes MIA. She shares information freely and offers her professional opinion without ever being heavy-handed or overbearing. This makes her the only contractor we've used that my wife is just as happy to deal with as I am. She continues to be our first call whenever we have work that needs doing. (Just looked at the other reviews and was reminded about how well her team takes care of the space and leaves every workplace absolutely clean and tidy).

Cardinal Carpentry did an amazing job on our basement reno. Kiki, her crew and the subs she brought in were professional and completed superior work in a timely manner. Being in the design field, we know we can be picky about details, but everything was completed over and above our expectations. Thank you!

So we really wanted to go with these contractors. The pictures of their work are wonderful, and I love the thought of supporting women in trades. Made an appointment for a condo renovation, someone came and did a thorough walkthrough, took pictures, made notes and she left after a decent amount of time telling me that the quote would be ready after 4-6 weeks. So so far, all is well. Walkthrough was early august, a follow up email was sent to me mid september saying that kiki is working on the quote and will get back to us soon. I follow up early october as Ive heard nothing and its passed the timeframe that they said for a quote, and I hear nothing. No response at all from them. Basically I'm ghosted by this conpany. My husband follows up, and they respond to him generically about being busy etc., but offer nothing substantial to us. Then finally we get an email in January that they are really busy and cant do our project. We have since went with another contractor for our project, but we were both very disappointed in this contractor for how they handled things. I get that one can only have so many jobs on the go, but I'm sorry, if you already have too many jobs, then don't dangle the carrot for people and tell them that you'll get back to them and dont. Furthermore, we would have appreciated them being honest with us and simply saying that they couldn't take on our reno would have been nice. I didnt like being ghosted by them and didn't appreciate them answering my husband's queries and not mine. Like I said, the pics of their work are wonderful, but their post walkthrough conduct leaves much to be desired.
