Meadows Diner
I've lived in the area for 40yrs and this was my first time going to Meadows diner. This is not a hipster wannabe diner, this is the real deal. The food was very good, nice portions and priced fairly. The service was attentive and on point. Love this place for it's authenticity!!

It looks like a family owned restaurant and the they’re so busy around the afternoon. We wait for 30 min to get our food. The food is really nice for their price.

Great family-run diner. Food was incredibly good. I had the Original Breakfast wrap with fruit. Hot and fresh. Coffee not so great, but the young lady serving was lovely.

Great tasting coffee. We both had eggs Benedict- one with avocado and the other with smoked meat. Hollandaise sauce is excellent. Service is very friendly and atmosphere is reminiscent of an local diner where they make you feel like family.

Excellent quality food, perfect portion sizes, delightful pricing and quite a quaint spot. The other reviews are on par; family owned and cookie cutter authentic diner! Owner is very friendly and always wears good conversation on his shoulders - very in tune with the nature of his establishment love to see it!

My favourite breakfast spot in Ottawa!Pretty sure it’s a family run place, and they seem to really care about the quality & details. Plus there’s a good range of menu options and their prices are affordable. I’ve stopped going to chains since I discovered this gem.

Good food, good prices, generous portions, friendly service.Open concept kitchen offering good breakfast options.The service was slow (approx 30min before we got the food). When it arrived it was good.The breakfast poutine was good, and so was the eggs breakfast. I like that coffee is included with the meal, but it didn't taste the greatest.Temp was hot in the restaurant so that made it a little uncomfortable. Will make sure to come on a cooler day.I'd give it 3.5 stars of I could.Super nice staff.

Terrible and slow service. Forgot our order after waiting for more than an hour. After, we had to wait in line for our order again. We eventually left without the food, and told the owner to cancel our order, as we had a full day ahead and our plans has been delayed. Owner was rude and told us to be understanding because it was a busy day.

Fast and friendly service! Food was very fresh and a hefty portion. Very reasonably priced for their breakfast menu. I didn’t really look at the lunch menu so I can’t speak on that. Environment is casual and cozy. Would come again!
