We used Hodori Express Canada to make a move from Toronto to Los Angeles. We got several quotes but no one we spoke with instilled confidence in us, especially when we'd discuss the timeframe for receiving our belongings at the other end. When we spoke with James at Hodori Express we were immediately comforted by his knowledge and reassurance. His quote was competitive and it was an easy decision to move forward with the company. Leading up to the move James checked in with us periodically, which we really appreciated. His team delivered boxes and packing supplies, which were high quality and plentiful. They even gave us a very useful taping and labelling demo! On moving day, I cannot explain to you how efficient and easily our home was packed up. Four people came and gave us a true white glove experience. We were so stressed because moving with kids is tough, especially to another country, but when the movers showed up, they were such experts and so organized, we didn't have to micromanage them or worry about anything. They carefully wrapped our art, disassembled cribs and meticulously packed things into their truck. All we had to do was sit back and take notes. It was a complete breeze. They were in and out of our three bedroom home in four hours! Once the truck left our house, James provided us with updates once our belongings cleared customs and again to ensure we had heard from the company in California who had our truck and would be delivering it to our house. The end result was perfect. Our stuff was delivered to our home in California 10-days later, everything was in one-piece and the local movers who delivered it carefully reassembled everything and were absolute professionals.Overall, the actual 'move' was the least stressful part of an otherwise very overwhelming life change. I thought moving during a pandemic was going to be extra stressful but James and Hodori Express made it so easy for me. All my boxes and furniture were carefully moved from LA to Toronto and everyone was very courteous and respectful. The team wore masks at all times and moved everything quickly and efficiently. Customs was also handled by their team and was seamless. I will definitely be using Hodori Express in my next move!

My experience with Hodori Express was only positive. I moved and also shipped my car from Toronto to Calgary in the summer of 2016. Mr. SH Lee was very easy to reach via email and phone over the course of several months. He answered all my questions and requests very promptly and professionally. I could not move in one shot and needed flexibility in terms of dates and storage over a few months, and everything was provided as requested. Hodori Express also ensured adequate communication and transfer of service with the Calgary company (Lucky). I had heard that one must choose a moving company very carefully... But dealing with Hodori Express was incredibly easy. Their services were also cheaper than quotes from several other companies. We've moved 3 times internationally, and around 6 times domestically, so I've dealt with my fair share of moving companies. Hodori Express was by far the best moving experience we've ever had. The main contact I dealt with, James Lee, was polite, professional and meticulous about every detail of the move. What really impressed me however was the rest of his crew, they were all extremely hard working, respectful people we enjoyed having in our home. This is a small family run business, and both James and his father were there packing boxes, hauling furniture alongside everyone else. It's impressive that moving a four story home across the country and everything arrived at the destination accounted for, and the only thing that was broken was one Ikea glass. If you're considering a move from Toronto it would be a grave mistake not to consider them.

This review is long overdue as we've used Hodori Express multiple times already to transport shipments to/from Vancouver. We have also used them to help move furniture the couple times that we moved houses. They are very professional in the services they provide and are extremely quick and efficient. They took really good care of our furniture when moving and wrapped up everything nicely so there was no damages, scratches or dents. When we moved to our new place, they had put down mats everywhere to ensure the house wouldn't get dirty during the move. They provided boxes and tape for us to pack up all our belongings and were very punctual the day of the move. I have recommended them to many friends and family and have only heard good experiences from the people that have used them. I would highly recommend Hodori Express.
