Regina Climbing Centre

Friendly staff who care about safety and providing a good experience. Routesetting is good and there is a variety of movement a few styles. Self-belays, top roping, and bouldering are available. You can borrow guidebooks from the gym too. I go here every time I am in Regina.

This used to be a fairly welcoming place, that has changed. Do not bother climbing if you are pregnant or a child. We've climbed inside at several gyms around Canada, and outside while pregnant and with our child. We've never had treatment like that. Totally not acceptable for a sport that is super accessible for all ages, abilities and easily modified.The walls are not tall, setting is not one bit varied. Seems like they want one type of climber. I would discourage people supporting a business that is discriminatory.

Staff here are superb. It’s a small gym, but they make the most of it with a fair amount of bouldering, auto belays and top rope. Workout area is perhaps a little bit lacking.

(EDIT: the owner is lying in his reply. He did not tell us our daughter was too young to climb, he simply stated that he thought there wasn't anything here for her and that my wife shouldn't be climbing because she was pregnant (she's experienced and has a pregnancy harness). When we told him our daughter had been climbing there (and elsewhere) many times, he was happy to take our money and then be snarky at us.)Owner is condescending and disrespectful. This place used to be very welcoming to us and our toddler. The gym is very small and the lead wall is 2 draws worth of height, so there's not a whole lot for adults to climb. It was the perfect place for us to just come and supervise our toddler on the bouldering walls and auto belays. The owner displayed disgusting behavior towards my pregnant wife and toddler. Don't waste your money on this pricey tiny gym with mediocre route setting and woeful owner.

First time out and took my 3 year. We learnt lots from the experience. Safety was a big thing and the crash course was perfect. It was busy but still a good turnaround; didn't have to wait long for a run to open.1 adult 1 kid and two rental came to 57 dollars.Fun time, my daughter age 4 didn't go very high and learnt how to descend. She hit her head a couple times, for not pushing herself off the wall. Learnt the hard way and continued trying.We will go back.

Lots of fun! Great staff. Amazing workout. Definitely fun for the while family or anyone looking to try something new.

Definitely not beginner friendly! Bouldering routes are much harder and do not match the grading systems well. Seems like a lot of them are set for taller people as well. I usually climb in Calgary, and for the price you pay to get in/rent equipment, this location doesn’t match expectations.

I've been to this place couple of times now and I can't get enough. I've never rock climbed before and my experience here was amazing. Really friendly staff. They give you tips and trips to climb better. Fair prices for the membership programs but the one time visit fee which is $25 is a too high. They are still expanding and I believe they will add another section soon. The late night hours are great for people who are busy during the day.

Amazing place to spend an evening or day on the weekend, I do wish it was open later on the weekend. Aside from weekend hours, the place is amazing has about 6 auto belays so you can even go there solo. Also, the staff is super friendly and helpful!
