The concept is simple, you pick your protein, base and sauce. I came here twice and both times resulted in a very salty poke! There were only small chunks of protein as well!

Definitely worth trying the poke. Got plenty of poke to choose from and i chose the yuzu and the tiki. Got selection of sushi rice as well as coconut rice. I personally like the tiki way more since it is spicy and it reminds me of home food called pecel from back in indonesia; the peanut spicy sauce made me miss home so much. Thank you Hula Poke for the wondeful food. Recommended for the Tiki! Cheers!

I got their yuzu poke with coconut rice base. I love coconut rice so I was really surprised that is an option. You can't choose the toppings like other poke store here. You can only choose a flavor and everything is set for you.The poke was ok. It was a bit too salty as commented by other people as well. The fish was fresh. For food court food I consider them pretty good.

I got the yuzu sauce. Really flavorful however way too salty (coming from someone who likes savory food). I also tried the noodle but I'm not sure I made the right choice. The crunchy texture is unlike anything else I've tried, so the closest comparison I can think of is jellyfish or seaweed. I'm guessing the noodles is gluten-free.Portion-wise, I got lots of salmon, which I appreciate. Overall not a huge meal, which I prefer.

I LOVE THE TIKI BOWL. It's the only one I order every time. I always get it with kelp noodles or salad base. This store gives generous portions compared to other locations and I always have a delicious bowl!!!

Visiting Metrotown for the first in over three months, we were attracted to this place because of its aesthetically pleasing design. Just keep in mind that it's located outside of the central food court cluster. I'm always down for a poke bowl, so it was no brainer. The concept is interesting, where you put your bowl together in three steps, which is not too unique, but I liked the third step with a fantastic variety of already compiled mixtures of toppings and sauces. Some of them bring the final result very close to what original poke bowl is, or to a place where you can't call it a conventional poke bowl anymore. We tried both of these variations and enjoyed them a lot. I'm also glad that they have a kelp noodles base available. Also, the variety of inhouse made beverages is a pleasant surprise; most of the poke establishments don't have that. I encourage you to give it a try, and it is not your standard poke joint.

It was tasty but too much sauce. Also, the portion was really small. I knew that there was only a scoop of protein included in a signature bowl, but still too stingy. Salmon was not really fresh. It broke in my mouth before I really chew.

Got the Koko bowl with salmon. Excessive amount of gochujang and way too salty to the point where it's inedible. I usually finish all my food even if I don't like it but this time I literally could not because it was so salty. Doesn't help that the rice to sauce/meat ratio is so uneven. So strange to say that a poke bowl doesn't have enough rice. The rice also sticks together and doesn't mix with the other ingredients, so it's just small clumps of rice with huge amounts of overly savoury sauce. There's also a microscopic amount of meat in there. I usually don't write reviews for food but this was so underwhelming for $15-16.
