Thankfully, Colonial Vet were able to fit my cat in for an appointment same day, which avoided us a trip to the emergency vet hospital. They also didn’t push for any unnecessary and costly tests and instead offered advice/solutions and a few meds, which was also greatly appreciated.

My dog happily and excitedly walks into this vet every time. I’d say that’s a pretty darn good sign. A dog busting through the doors tail wagging, excited to see everyone there means they definitely do a good job trying to make your animal feel comfortable. Staff are all lovely from my experience (especially Nancy ;)) and my animals all enjoy their vet Dr Grimshaw as well.

Dr. Clifford saved my dogs life. Identified a tremor, when no one else did! The care and concern she has for her clients is amazing. The staff is always ‘on point’…so caring and professional. I also love Donna, the amazing vet tech…she always had the best money saving advice! Just love this clinic!!!

My family have been going to Colonial for many years and with many animals. Our last experience was July 8, 2023 where I brought Jenny, my 13 1/2 year old Siberian Husky to cross over the Rainbow Bridge. From making the appointment, to greeting us and very regularly checking on us, the staff were so compassionate and understanding. Dr. Grimshaw, Jenny’sveterinarian, explained everything to us very compassionately and spoke some very loving words to Jenny. The whole experience was difficult for us but was made so special and in such a loving environment by the staff at Colonial. We will always be thankful to them. Rest in peace Jenny.

As a first-time puppy owner, my first visit with Dr. Clifford this week was excellent. The entire staff was so warm and welcoming, and they all answered any questions I had. I am so glad we picked them as our vet, as I have heard nothing but good things from friends who go there too!

Did not have a great experience at Colonial veterinary. For my first visit they quoted me a $450 fee for the medical and lab work without having seen my pet. They were doing the tests from information given by my previous veterinarian. They also did not like the fact that I did not consent to a blood test which had been taken 5 weeks previous. After the medical they terminated their service and recommended I seek another veterinary.

I emailed in on holiday Monday that my dog had a raging ear infection while I was at the cottage. I had an appointment time in just an hour or so. Fantastic service!

As always had a great experience at Colonial! The vets, techs, and all staff are wonderful - friendly, professional, caring and aways competent. My dog and I have been with Colonial for years and he has had amazing care, but this was little Willow’s first experience and it was great. Dr. Grimshaw took excellent care of her.

This is where we go with our two fur babies and have always received excellent care and advice from Dr.Brown and the other vets. The front staff and techs are always providing excellent services as well. We really appreciate the email follow ups after visits needed for injuries (big and small). Highly recommend this veterinary hospital; you can't get any better than this team!
