Dr Brain did a great job on my foot. He is one of only a few Ontario doctors trained in microsurgery for feet. Painless and very quick recovery. Not covered by OHIP so it is expensive.

This Dr charges $50.00 for a missed appointment when the regular charges are only $30.00. This is a for an ultrasound procedure that only takes approximately 15 min, and done by his assistant. I think this is robbery.

As a veteran with an injured foot, I thought I was lucky in getting in to see Dr. Brain. Bedside manner was good, and he is always a happy soul and took care of my foot. I had no issues with my foot for a couple of years so did not require his services, until yesterday. After he cut out a corn from my foot, I went to collect my health card and was told that because I had not seen him for two years, they were charging me an extra $35.00 on top of what Insurance was willing to cover. The $35.00 was out of my pocket. They marked it down on my receipt as an initial exam.That turns out to be the one straw that breaks the camels back. I will not be seeing him again.Sorry Dr. Brain, but that is unacceptable.

As a Veteran I'm extremely disappointed that this business would not accept me as a patient because I'm medically exempt from wearing a mask. It's a sad day when a receptionist knows better what's good for me in less than 10 mins on the phone. I've was very hopeful they would be the ones to finally help me with my military related injury after 2.5 yrs of trying to get help. Shame on this Dr.

This morning I had toenail surgery to correct previous surgery by an OHIP-covered surgeon 7 months ago. I cannot say enough about what a satisfactory experience it was. I got a consultation appointment within a few days and surgery a week later. On both occasions I arrived early and was seen early. The staff and Dr. Brain were extremely friendly and efficient and I came away feeling much better for the experience. The needles for the first surgery were excruciatingly painful so I was very trepidatious about the repeat surgery. I needn't have worried. I felt no more than slight pinpricks. And Dr. Brain found and fixed the problem. Thanks! Hilary

I saw Dr. Brain over a year ago and I still think about it. He seemed competent but seemed like he was used to pushing the patients theough the system. He didn't listen to me before he started working. Created a whole new problem out of an ingrown that I apparently had but was not bothering me.The most unsatisfactory thing was my experience with his receiptionist. She could teach a masterclass on gaslighting. I would like to never ever see that woman again.

Always friendly helpful and accommodating

Extremely helpful and took great care with my foot. The consultant was $100.00 but my insurance covered it. Very pleased with his help on my foot. Definitely recommend Dr. Brain and his staff to anyone with foot problems.

Awful customer service, charged me 100 bucks for 4 minutes consult. Terrible customer service. Avoid and go elsewhere
