Horrible non existant service!!Well this place continues to disappoint ! I sum it up to bad management / owners!Walked in waitress speaking with a lady and her children....I wait....I wait...there is no one coming to seat patrons for breakfast!! Waitress looks over but continues to speak about her kids with the lady, not a care in the world that someone is waiting to have a table....after 5 min I walked out!! Totally unacceptable and frustrating! if you have a business meeting don't go there or you will be late for sure. I should have read the reviews about this place because all the negative reviews are spot on!

AVOID BARBIES.Everything about this restaurant was dissapointing.We first walked in, the gentleman seating people asked me if I spoke english, then informed me of a 20 minute wait. We waited 20 minutes, went back, and a girl was now seating people. She said the other gentleman didn't add me to the list. I thought it was weird he didnt ask my name.. so we waited another 20 minutes.Finally to our suprise they sat us. The were OUT of Molson Canadian. Which was fine I got something else the server offered. We also got a margarita, which came with a black nearly mouldy lime, and tasted horrible.We ordered a French Onion soup and a caeser salad. The soup was cold, watery and had practically no taste. Thankfully they didnt mess up the ceaser salad.We decided to go elsewhere since we waited nearly an hour altogether just waiting to get a seat and then were extremely dissapointed with the food. The Manager seemed very angry and the proceeded to tell me that our food was ready and we should pay for it. I told him id pay for the drinks, even the mouldy lime Margarita.If you aren't from Quebec, don't go here. You'd think they'd be friendly as theyre located inside of a Hotel.

It's a larger restaurant. Looks nice and clean. Food wasn't really good, but that might have been a fluke. Fish and chips that I got were very greasy and almost burnt. French onion soup was nice.Update for reduced rating:Understaffed for sure. Waiting times are ridiculously long. Quality of food varies as well as prices charged vs ones in the menu.Some items are overpriced (8$ for that tiramisu is a bit much)

Always an amazing time at Barbie's: the food, drinks, and staff are all exceptional. Special mention to the fantastic bartender Marie. She made us feel so welcome and at home. Can't wait to bring my friends and family!

Honest Review!!!I'm not the type of person that is usually negative but here goes my thoughts. The restaurant itself is clean and looks nice.Breakfast: (breakfast buffet)1. The food was cold2. Not a big selection compared to other hotels with same rating3. Coffee doesn't taste good.Dinner: (quesadillas, wings and ceasar salad)1. Very bad service with a long wait time. Waiters weren't friendly!2. Food didn't have taste and it was horrible.3. There was a piece of the plastic in my wings plate (cross contamination), there was hair in my ceasar salad. Two waiters were told and none apologized, they had to ask for a manager which gave us vouchers" to eat at the restaurant again

We went for dinner and the dinner was quite good. We decided to go back for the breakfast buffet they have on Saturday mornings and it was quite a different experience. The buffet was very underwhelming, and there was nothing left. We waited 20 minutes for them to fill it up and it was very basic, and honestly not very good. The service also left a lot to be desired. The waiter was roaming around aimlessly while the buffet was empty and he waited too long to tell the kitchen to refill it. Even coffee was empty and he never asked us if we wanted any other drinks for the kids. If I'd done the brunch there before we had dinner, I definitely would not have gone back. It was also expensive for what we had, I would not recommend this place for breakfast.

Beers are cold, and you get free nachos with a pitcher. Food is quick and oh my god delicious. The atmosphere is very calming and modern. Music is not too loud easy to talk to friends. The steaks were cooked to perfection on “CHARCOAL GRILL” and my poutine was so juicy with their layering technique. The kitchen knows what their doing. The french onion soup was definitely made in house because it was not basic. Ribs were tender, soft and falling off the bone. Not drenched in sauce and reasonably seasoned. Matys was absolutely amazing and very professional yet welcoming. Ha gets 10 stars from us.
