Honestly I just went for the consultation to have an idea if anything was possible, I was so negative about the possibility. I just had my 4th vehicle approved through Approval Genie but first time having it delivered to my home since I’m 4hrs away from their shop. Although, there was a lot of hiccups in the process, I’m glad it finally came. First things first, Peter contacted me right away after I had submitted my application. He was professional and got the vehicle that I want, found through a third party site (not part of their inventory). The vehicle, however, had some unexpected repair that neither myself or Peter anticipated it. So, the delivery date was delayed a week after original date. I was disappointed when I found out that we were getting charged for the repair cost. That was a bummer. But they did pay for the other repair and maintenance that was done. So, the question is, should the buyer be responsible to all the repairs prior to possession, whether from a third party or right from their own inventory? I guess I’ll never know since I didn’t ask these questions prior to choosing one that wasn’t theirs to begin with. I was a naive buyer, and wasn’t asking the right questions. Neither was I provided any warnings or insights should there be any repercussions should I buy from a third party dealer. Anyway, what I learn from this deal is that -1) the original dealer will not certify nor disclose of any issues2) never assume, always ask the right questions; purchased 2019 Nissan Pathfinder with low mileage so I assumed it was a good deal, no issues, boy, was I wrong3) don’t get too excited on a vehicle because it’s a sign of desperation, which can be used against you4) last but not least, make sure, you are provided options of which vehicle to choose not just one, unlike my previous onesOverall, Peter delivered as promised, I got the approval and the vehicle of my choosing. I will still recommend Approval Genie, but please be mindful and do your own research to compare rates, vehicle, etc.
