I never leave reviews but I cannot explain how much this service and parts team screwed me with their yearly service of my Mini. Honestly I don’t know much about cars and trusted that paying a “premium price” for my annual service meant that I was being taken care of properly. I didn’t know any better and always paid what they told me I needed. I dreaded every time I had to go because it was always incredibly expensive . Every service cost me $1k upwards (last one was $1.5k and that’s when I questioned what they were actually doing because I drove away with broken parts that worked before dropping it off). That particular service my right seat warmer no longer worked, and the buttons on my steering wheel weren’t responsive. Again, all of which were working perfectly fine before getting it serviced.I recently took my mini to a reputable mechanic and told him my experience with Mini and he laughed at it. The Mini service team told me my breaks needed to be changed, every service (!?!?) and never rotated my tires (even though they told me they were). This new mechanic was the one to tell me my tires were bald and dangerous to drive on. Now I’m left with another bill and two new front tires. The guys who installed my new tires literally laughed at the scam Mini had put me through and said “if they did their job properly and rotated your tires you would have got another 2 years out of them”. I can’t help but think Mini did it on purpose just to get more money out of me. Honestly, don’t waste your time getting your car serviced here. They’re just scamming you for your money!

Nice clean place and friendly staff! If anyone is complaining about the price of things, you need to remember you're driving a Mini haha If you want cheap, go drive a Civic. Plus, bring an official service center, of course things will be more expensive because it's official" aka have some sort of warranty or so."

My MINI have been serviced at Vancouver for 12 years. It's always like a home to me. I went to Langley this time after I relocated, only because it much closer to home. It was a huge mistake to the point that I had hard time to find something good to say about the entire experience. I booked another appointment at Vancouver, James happened to be me service advisor this time. He covered all my concern, very professional, organized and considered how to get the job done for my benefit. As long as I still have my MINI, I will stick with Vancouver for my services.

Went to get my seasonals swapped out and my service advisor tried to charged me $280 ... $180 for the alignment alone. I shared I had never paid that previously so she looked up my account apparently and then reduced it to $100. Shady. Why must this place be this way? : (

Worst service EVER. Car in for routine check up, was told 2-3 hours. The service advisor sent a lovely text saying how pleased they were to have our business and asked about doing more to the car, but then did not respond to the five texts my husband sent to answer his question. No one called us, we were on hold for an hour. We finally kicked up a fuss around 5 and arrangements were made to pick up the car THE FOLLOWING MORNING. When my husband got there the next day he had to wait for half an hour until they located the car. Will NEVER darken their doors again.

Brent was super helpful and transparent about what to do with my vehicle. Replied to my emails quick as well. Definitely will go to him again for our next service. One of the concierge guys aren't as welcoming and come off a little stuck up, but thankfully didn't have to deal with him for too long. Thanks again, Brent!

This place is a total rip off. I would never go back there again. I had a dead battery and they would charge me over $750 to replace it. When I asked for the breakdown of the cost, I was shocked to learn that, apart from the battery cost which is about $385, they would charge me 2 hours of labor for the installation. I mean I watched the DIY video to replace a Mini Cooper battery, the video was 3 minutes long. I ended up replacing the battery myself in less than an hour, considering I never had any training in mechanics before. I followed the DIY video and it was quite straightforward. I am just appalled that Mini would charge 2 hours labor for a simple job like that. It was a complete rip off and I would never go back there again.

Brought my newly purchased 2012 Mini Cooper S for key programming (Purchased from their parts department). I was told 3 hours to program a key.Dropped off the car on the scheduled appointment and I told the attendant not to wash the car. He acknowledged. After 3 hours, I went back to the service centre. No call or anything. I had to wait an additional 30 minutes until they brought the car to the drop off / receiving area. I was surprised the car was wet and I asked why the car was wet. I noticed electronics got wet in the rear quarter panel as I had the outer pillar panels removed (why I asked them not to wash in the first place). They got all defensive and called the manager. Manager told me they cannot control the weather and they did not wash the car. I got more annoyed at this point as they were avoiding my question and blaming it on the weather. It did not rain that day and all other cars were dry. The manager even asked me if the car was rebuilt and he would not know if there were previous issues with the car showing that they did not want to do anything about it.After a long discussion, manager has given me a 30 day electronic warranty, which fortunately did not have to use.Giving a 1 star as this service centre is full of lies. Reviewed my dash cam when I got home and they indeed wash the car.

Since Mini moved the service from terminal ave to the current location that is shared with BMW the customer service has been way worse. You get really bad customer service and prices are 2-3 times more than other car shops. The issue is that with today cars that are more and more computers in wheels manufacturers don't share all the tools and training with other shops. We really need to get back the right to repair. Do not recommend this place.

I have been a customer of Yaletown/Vancouver Mini since our 1st Mini Cooper, we are now on our 3rd. My experience with the service department today was absolutely disgusting... its like a bad experience at shady car repair shop, but in this case, with a BMW sign out front!Anyway, our car has a 'service' light appear on the dashboard. I made an appointment and dropped off the car yesterday. I received several text messages from BRENT LEE, our service advisor, saying that the t/stat needed replacement, new spark plugs were needed, and regular fluid flushes were suggested. All in, about $2,300 in repairs. I said, if this makes the service light go out, then proceed with $2,000 of the work.Next day I pick up the car, pay, and find the same light is still on! I tell BRENT - who really didn't seem to care, and he says it won't go off as the brake lining were close to the wear indicator. So, I bring the car in to fix the service light issue, spend $2k on needed or needless repairs and find the real issue was never resolved! The feeling is of disgust... sounds like the typical story that give auto repair shops a bad name!I had a service loaner during my last oil service in the spring. The loaner was a new BMW X5. I was very impressed with the vehicle and was considering one for my next vehicle. After this experience, not anymore... Trust and competency has been lost. As for returning to Mini Vancouver, I don't think so.
