Have several Shivani spices at home for cooking with. Recently made a recipe for spicy nuts for the holidays and a commercial brand spice was almost tasteless. Grabbed my Shivani’s and the handy spice metre on the bottle helped me choose the best spicy option from my different bottles of Shivani’s spices. The result was fantastic spicy flavourful nuts that the family loved. Kicking the other brands to the curb and depending on Shivani’s from now on!

I treated my family to your Biryani tonight with chicken and your Biryani masala purchased from the Free Range Store. It was incredible, the best I have ever had from take away. I also made the garam masala potatoes just to try for an appetizer, delish!! Everyone went home full and happy!!

Not a good experience. We bought frozen dishes of chicken and rice at Sobeys in Bedford. The rice was very watery and the meat part had to be mixed and made a curry completely messed up as the sauce was put on top of the meat and not mixed. I’ll have my own curry anytime after this experience!!

The 2 servers working behind the counter were both really accommodating and welcoming! The prices are very reasonable and they offer cooking classes too.I would take off a Star here, as the flavors are not very Indian / spicy / authentic. It is made fresh to order and some stuff might be better than others.

I have purchased some spices in the past but it really is hard to beat the high quality and freshness you get when you purchase Shivani’s Kitchen products. Locally made as well which is great. Support local and if it is high quality, fresh products made with care you are looking for, Shivani’s Kitchen products needs to be on your grocery list.

Today , i have ordered butter naan with paneer butter masala. But there was no butter on the naans and it tastes very bad with mud On it. Really, it was a very bad experience for me. It didnot taste like indian food at all. Never seen naan like this.

Shivani was a welcoming hostess and fabulous teacher at the recent cooking class I took with her. She is fun, friendly and full of amazing information about the Curry dishes and the ingredients we were using. I loved that she referenced her Mother's teachings a lot. Very authentic. I will definitely be back for another class!

We had Shivani come for my hubby’s birthday to teach us how to cook a traditional Indian Street food recipe. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed this experience!! Shivani was patient and the clean-up was most welcome, nice to cook and not clean up!! ;). Thanks Shivani and Gaff (sp?). Still waiting for the email with recipes - looking forward to it!!
