Ole's Adventure Resort Ltd

This goes out to walleye fisherman specifically. I had no problem with the resort. The lake is beautiful. The problem is that the lake is only about six feet (or less) deep and very weedy due to the shallow depth. Very difficult to catch walleyes which was my/our focus. You're taking off weeds constantly regardless whether you're jigging, casting, drifting, trolling, even with slip bobbers. We did catch walleyes, but we worked for everyone. We did ask for guidance on how to catch walleyes from Dave the owner. And he did instruct us on what to use and how to fish throwing jigs and drifting toward it. But, the result was the same. Removing weeds continously. It was a big disappointment with limited time to fish Canadian waters. I've fished many lakes in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Canada. I never ran into this issue as bad as this lake. Hope this helps. Darryl K.

Out for a drive one day so we pulled into Ole’s Resort. To our surprise we were very surprised at this beautiful well kept camp ground. I have never had a trailer in a resort before, as they all just were to cramped and jammed in. Ole’s has great spacious 30 amp electrical and full water hook up at every site, along with holding tank pump outs. I was sold with just this fact. After getting settled we met all the other friendly great campers and of course Tammy and Dave, who would bend over backwards to accommodate anything you need. Our Children and Grandchildren also come out to enjoy this wonderful resort, great fishing and relaxing time with family and friends, along with great barbecues (Dave and Tammy) and potlucks. We looked for a place to park our trailer for about 4 seasons. Yes we were being picky. This is now our 3rd season out at Oles and we couldn’t be happier. Full service hookup, fresh water (no boiling) and pump outs (no honey wagon!!). Every camper out there is friendly and welcoming. The owners, Dave and Tammy, are so accommodating, friendly and always go above and beyond to make us all fell at home. Oles has turned into our home away from home.

Before you book this resort you should read this. We booked two campsites at this resort several weeks and advance. We had read the five or six reviews that were available and looked on the website. It looks like a very nice place and we were very excited.When we got there and drove down the driveway we realized that the pictures on their website did not portray an accurate picture.The site that we were to stay in that was supposed to be considered a full hook up did not even have water available. It was some gravel that was in the marshy area by the edge of the lake. The man there did say he would take care of the water but how he was going to do it I don’t know. Maybe he planned on running a hose from his house. The site that our son was supposed to be on, right next to us, did not have an electrical box, water or anything else. Obviously it was not even a real site.My husband voiced some concerns that this did not look anything like their website and then the man simply told us to leave.Now mind you we have traveled many hours (2days) and we’re now stuck without anywhere to stay. We drove down a short ways to a resort called Come By Chance Resort. Unfortunately they were totally booked and could not accommodate us but they were very very helpful. They helped us to find a campground That could accommodate us. Now instead of being on the lake we are going to have to drive back-and-forth every day to go fishing. In our search to try to find somewhere to stay there were many individuals Who had heard of similar problems from other patrons at that resort.If you choose to book and stay at this this resort good luck! Make sure you take cash as they do not take credit cards and be aware that it looks nothing like its website

Dave and Tammy are outstanding owners who go the extra mile. I can’t say enough about this place. Every experience I have at Ole’s is top notch with unbeatable prices, beautiful location and friendly people. If your looking for the right place to get away look no further.

Ole's Adventure Resort in Canada is the best fishing resort I have been to. The fishing is awesome and the owners are down to earth. The cabins are suitable for a week of fishing with plenty of space for everyone. I should mention that the prices are unbeatable!! If you like to catch a lot of fish, you want to go to Ole's Adventure Resort!!!
