This is a great facility! Still, I do not quite understand one thing. If I pay for the lane swim, why should I listen to a loud radio transmission, coming from several loudspeakers at different times? These days, if you don't like commercials, pay few dollars and you don't have them. Here you have no choice...

Great swimming!Should bring back the Tarzan rope though.

This is a great place to go swimming with a very large pool. Very clean with a coffee shop on site. We will be going there again for sure.

Love the aquarena. Always have ans always will. Especially with little ones because of rhe toddler pool that's warmer than the main pool. My kids could stay for hours on end

flooring is very nice non slip hot spray mica throughout facility it's really very excellent, the best Modern Olympic spec pool in newfoundland, a high class swim, pool is warm, showers are hot, staff are very welcoming and all very friendlyLockers are all 50 cents each,Pool is 16 ft deep, well above Olympic spec however i prefer training to 26 ft there are requirements in this pool that are not applicable on the mainland like no face mask with noseThe pool is truly very excellent, many years ago there used to be a sauna but it's not there anymore, I haven't yet had the time to look at stationary excercise equipment but it's a great place to swim I'd recommend to everyone for a excellent time thankyouswimming here since grade 2/3. Or trying atleast!This is a excellent pool for family's or people with social anxiety, female facility's have change tables and playpens, 25/50 meter lanes with just you or low numbers depending on time of day, membership cost is $55 for 12 swims or $236 for 90 days or 5.50 a swim!

An aging, older facility located on the Memorial University campus. This pool has definitely seen better days, but still does the job as an excellent 8x50m+ pool. Definitely needs more spectator areas In the pool, and a refit of the locker room areas. Staff were all excellent, and having a tim Hortons in the building is a power move.

Generally a very good facility. I believe it is the largest pool on the island. Some parts of the building are starting to show their age, particularly the change rooms. The building is very well maintained however making the age of the infrastructure much less of an issue. I think it's also time to ditch the Tim Hortons in favor of somthing healthier considering this is a sports and recreation facility. Maybe a Booster Juice?

Quality Gym. Not very rush in the afternoon hours. People are friendly and the equipment are cleaned after every use.The space is little confusing for the first time other than that it is an wonderful place for work out.

This place use to be good but it slowly got worse over the past 5 years IMO. The slides leave marks all over your back and it hurts for a while. Life guards scream from across the entire pool to somebody on the opposite side. Parents, instead of going into the change stalls that are obviously next to them, just change their children in front of everybody else which is discusting and gross.

Really amazing pool! Friendly staff. It's just perfect! I love this pool. Might be the highlight of our St.John's stay. We stayed at the university and we get to swim here. Highly recommend to stay in the university rooms instead of downtown hotels.
