This place is so much more than just an acting studio. Having done two Actors Instruments and going onto my second Scene Study class I feel there is a real sense of community created here. Cindy is a generous guide, who sees her students in their truth and helps us to explore our own emotions and deep rooted needs in a safe environment. Through AI and Scene Study I'm finally grasping the real meaning of empathy and what the actors work is truly about, devoid of ego. Cindy accepts all people, whether you're a beginner, a seasoned actor, or just a soul in search of connection. This place is about what it means to be universally human.

After much trial and error with learning and applying acting techniques from various acting classes I finally chanced upon Cindy's acting classes. Herein, she freed me up to accept myself and then surprised me over and over again by getting me acquainted with aspects of myself, my strengths as an actor that I never knew existed.Cindy's acting approach is tailored to each one of us. We learn, and we learn it well. With none of the rivalry, the competition or the pressure to be in a certain image all that remains is art and our unique truth. Each scene is filled with immense opportunity to explore, discover and perform and what comes out then is a level of work that is oftentimes worthy of theatrical or cinematic merit but always goes beyond that scope and resonates very close to life. That is the level of authenticity and truth in Cindy's acting classes.I find the classes to be not just unique in many cases, but also extremely effective, humbling and empowering. Brief encounters with Cindy carry over into every facet of life. I began training with Cindy in private virtual sessions during the Pandemic.
