Sea of Whales Adventures

Best experience beginning to end! Thank you Kris! From meeting our tour mates in the parking lot, getting suited up our cold water gear and then jumping in the zodiac, we were so pumped to see Newfoundland from the water . Kris gives an awesome tour, telling you all about the communities, birds, rocks, trees, and marine life. The boat ride was awesome. The rest was a bonus.We were super fortunate to also get to see and spend time watching a finback whale and a little later, we saw a pair of humpbacks doing some fishing for their dinner. We also got to see a whole island of puffins and quite a few bald eagles.An experience of a lifetime. Not to be missed.Arrive early to have a chance to take a walking tour around Trinity!

Had the best time with sea of whales adventures! Chris was a very nice and great guide/captain! He made sure to show us as much as he could. We got to see an iceberg, many whales and puffins! I highly recommend booking with them! Thank you Chris :)(P.s they provide suits, gloves and hat so you don't freeze in the middle of the ocean! We appreciated that)

Sea of adventures is a great way to see a small part of the coast of Newfoundland. Chris was very knowledgeable and was great in explaining several different species of animals and pointing them out during our tour. We saw a couple of minky whales, puffins and other coastal birds, bald eagles and even a rare stellar eagle that had made its way to the area! We also got to check out some icebergs and even taste them! Amazing experience and if you are looking for a whale watching experience, definitely check out sea of whales in Trinity!

Absolutely amazing!! We were able to see so many whales and wildlife on our three hour morning zodiac tour. Chris is genuinely passionate about his tours and he took his time getting out of the bay which allowed us so many opportunities to see minke whales that are harder to spot!We followed a humpback that at one point surfaced RIGHT NEXT TO THE BOAT! Honestly life changing to experience that.Shauna is also an absolute gem in terms of helping us with our schedule and was so friendly! The survival suits they fitted us in were so cozy and kept us warm as we posed with pictures of iceberg chips! Such a cool experience!! Thank you!!

This was by far the best whale watching tour ever, and we've done a few in BC and other places on the globe. It was the highlight of our vacation in NL, and we'll definitely be back to see the whales with Chris! He navigates the sea with confidence, knows all the nooks and crannies, and most importantly, where to find the whales. We were extremely lucky to see a family of orcas, see them swimming towards us and checking us out! Not long after, we were surrounded by a herd of humpback whales, and then we saw 2 fin whales. Amazing!Most importantly, I was impressed by the deep respect and love Chris has for whales, and nature in general! Not to mention his continuous efforts to share information, and make sure we have a great time.I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get up close and personal with these amazing creatures.

What a fantastic morning! Kris was an engaging and knowledgeable guide. Very interesting to learn so much about the local history and livelihood of the area’s community. We saw eagles and many varieties of seabirds. We saw an amazing iceberg close-up. Although we weren’t lucky enough to see a whale on this trip, we would definitely try again if we are back in the area. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time on our tour. Chris was so knowledgeable and it seems like he wanted to find whales as much as we did. We saw 2 humpback whales and 1 minke whale. Plus an iceberg, waterfalls, bald eagles, sea birds, and even talked to a lobster fisherman (while tracking down the whales). If you're on the fence I highly recommend Sea of Whales Adventures.

We had a fantastic experience, thanks a lot Sea of Whales! We saw everything we could hope for. Icebergs, whales, eagles. The humpback mother whale even dived right underneath the boat, we could see the whole shape. You could tell our captain was passionate about whales. Thanks again, this will be a highlight of my vacation.

Had a fantastic tour today. It was a very drizzling day BUT that didn't distract from the tour at all. Kris is an excellent guide. So much knowledge of the area and wildlife. We saw a lot of different birds. GREAT sighting of a Minke Whale so beautiful. And SO MANY Puffins. Awesome day.
