Alpha Appliance Repair

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!Hired to fix my refrigerator, and quite simply did not! Repair man was subcontracted through PCHS, replaced a part and broke my waterline. Said he would be back within the week, but demanded payment (cash or e-transfer) for 90% of the bill and wouldn’t leave my house.When trying to reach the repairman directly failed, I contacted Alpha , where more assurances were given. They stopped answering my calls, and was forced to use other people’s phones, which were answered immediately. Eventually they sent out another repairman 21 days after my original call. He couldn’t fix it either, as he told me that no parts had been ever ordered and he would come back later that night. Disappearing trick again!!I fixed it myself today with a $5 part and a YouTube video. They stole my money, and never completed the work. Without integrity, you have nothing!

Great service - I got an appointment very quickly after my call. Luckily repairman had an appointment close to my place and he came to us directly after he have finished there. He checked our fridge and told us what was the problem, informed us about the price and how long it will take to get the part. We took our time to decide and agreed for his services. Till the end of the week our fridge was working again like new one. No complaints, good job!

We had a serious problem with our dryer as it was working but not heating the clothes. I called these guys and was greeted by a very friendly and polite person on the phone. She had the technician over to my house that same afternoon - and he fixed the problem promptly. I had a great experience with them, and their prices were very reasonable to boot!

Alpha Appliance Repair is a team of experts. I also appreciate them for using genuine parts. Our dryer was not working, I called them and in two hours they repaired it and replaced the required part. All this at great price. I would highly recommend them.

Very friendly repair man. My appliance was just out of warranty and he told me I should push the manufacturer to cover the part that is broken, as it is an expensive part and that I shouldn't have to pay it out of pocket. He wasn't even going to charge me for the service call at first.My only issue was, they were supposed to follow up the next day, but did not. I was waiting on a repair invoice from Alpha to send to the manufacturer for my repair to be covered, but ended up having to figure something else out as I never received anything. All in all it was a fast, friendly service call.

My dryer broke suddenly so I called this company to come over and fix it. They came the next day and got the whole job done very quickly. My dryer was stacked on top of my washer too, and in a tight place so it was a really tricky job. Not only did they manage to get the dryer out without bumping or scraping anything, but they fixed the thing and returned it without making a mess. woo!

Truly incredible service. The tech came literally within an hour to fix our fridge. Very professional, and got the job done very quickly. I was truly impressed; I will definitely call them again and I highly recommend them!

Bosch washing machine was jumping all over the place and making loud banging noises. Alpha Appliance Repair quickly arranged and sent a service engineer and were happy to rearrange the date when I requested this. Their engineer called to confirm appointment before arriving promptly on time. He was polite and efficient and tidy, quickly identifying the problem and leaving the machine working properly. He also gave good 'operating' advice. Pleased with the service and would probably use them again for any out of warranty repairs.

This company was able to send a repairman out to us quite quickly. He was able to quickly identify the issue, fixed it and provided me with some recommendations on how to maintain my appliances properly. I was quite satisfied with the service, and if needed would use them again, one of the best in Oshawa.
