Via Rail Chatham

Nice to have a train station so close to home. Never had an issue going to Windsor or Toronto. Station is always very clean, the signage is well visible, and the loud speaker is always clear to hear.I will continue to happily use via rail.

Well the train system is a nice way to travel in winter, we used the train to go to Montreal we did not want to worry about driving through bad weather. I prefer the older train with the fabric seats, it also has plugs under the window to keep your gadgets plugged in. The ham sandwich tied me over with a bag of chips, we did bring some munchies ourselves as well, you can get beer or wine, but the trip there the waiter guy said 1 per hour, but trip back the guy was nicer and only made my bf wait a half hour or so to have another, but two of the trains ran out of twizzlers snack. Can't get off at stations to have a cigarette so be prepared if your a smoker, and wear a patch on a long trip... The conductors always spoke iver the intercome is English and French and most of the time kept the passengers up to date on the delays.

Clean. Ample parking. Unfortunate that the ticket area is all automated, but that's the way its all going. Train has been up to 30 minutes late going from Chatham to Windsor way alot lately.

Good clean place Trains going to Windsor are usually 1 hr late arriving. Been that way my last 8 trips to Windsor. Fix your schedules VIA

I don't know if I would ever drive to Windsor again. The train ride is so comfortable, the staff are very friendly and the scenes outside the window of the train are breathtaking.

Good just to drop off and pick up passengers. Not recommended to leave the car in the parking lot for long time. Clean washrooms even when there no personnel on site.

It was an awful rainy cold day, and I was relieved to find the doors were open, the chairs were well spaced, the arrival time for trains was displayed and the area was well lit.

Decent place. Vending machines don't take coins (kept rejecting them). There's no free WiFi. Glad there's places to sit.
