We are very disappointed with the service, after endless follow up calls and emails our client finally received their hearth stone however the delivery was not as promised. Caution to other designers using their services.

Can't speak to the quality of the product (Banas stone) as it's not installed yet, but so far less than impressed with service. Maybe it's just the number of people doing reno work during COVID and they can't handle the volume. They were supposed to call when the stone arrived (had to ship it from another location) to arrange delivery and didn't, so eventually I followed up after a month (we were told two weeks). They said they had the stone and I was supposed to call them to tell them when to deliver (despite never telling me that the stone was in). Then they said they would deliver the following week and would call to confirm day/time and drop off location (as it's a construction zone) and didn't. It's even written on the delivery slip to call - never happened, didn't even know which day it was coming. Fortunately my contractor told me it had arrived. We saw that the stone was dropped off and the very top stone on the pallet is cracked. Have no idea if the other stones are damaged as we haven't even unwrapped anything yet. Called them right away and was told they didn't know what to do and would check into things, possibly send out a sales rep to check, but that they would call back and let me know. I asked if they wanted me to unpack the rest of the stone to check for damage and was told not to - if the sales rep came out we could unwrap the rest with him. I called back a week later to see where things were at and was told exactly the same thing - no idea, we will have to check and get back to you. This can't be the first stone they have ever had damaged in delivery - how can they not have a policy? So I've still got damaged stone, have had poor service, and am not optimistic that anything will be done about the damage. They have yet to ever call me, so I doubt I'll get the call back. I will likely unpack the remaining stone and hope it's the only damaged one (and just accept that they won't do anything about it). If it's more than one though I'm not sure how to get any follow up. Would not use Patene again considering this experience.

Found the service to be sub-par from the sales rep. Didn't seem keen on spending time to answer questions compared to other building suppliers in the area.
