The surrounding lower fence area is needing to be repaired immediately…badly! It is small enough for puppies to squeeze out making it unsafe as there is a gap between the fence and ground.However, the park provides doggie bags, a garbage area, a bench for sitting & a large area for pups to run around. It is currently very muddy due to weather this time of year. All in all, if the fence were to be repaired, it is a wonderful park to have here in Summerside!

It was perfect! Safe, open, close to the boardwalk and so many friendly dogs and owners I was reluctant to leave.

Always stinks. Anytime you add things for the dogs to play with people throw them out or take them home. Ropes, tiers, balls, most dogs are aggressive and owners have no recall

The photos are of places nearby, not of this dog park. This is basically a square, fenced space. Too small for exercise, perhaps suitable for sniffing another dog or taking a number 2. Better to have a leash and go for a walk. Not sure what the purpose of this is.

Its a nice place to take your 4 legged friend to have fun and the people that go there are pretty good to chat with also

Lots of grass and a fence. What else could you look for in a dog park? Now, I was there with a 25 pound pug shih-tzu on a Wednesday in 2 in the afternoon after a rainy morning, so your experience may differ.If it was busy there would definitely have been an issue with parking because there isn't really a clearly defined area. Cross your fingers and hope for the best because it is everyone for themselves.
